  1. Seems like everyone has had a 1-2 count on them today. Vintage CC. Hitless through 5
  2. RBI line drive double down the RF line
  3. CC just needs to get his legs under him. In Boston, his stuff was mildly off, but his stamina was pathetic. Today, his stuff is lethal, we'll see if he has some stamina here
  4. I have no problem with that except for the fact that Cervelli was up. While I like the kid's approach, I think that was the right move. And btw, Tex is BACK! 4-0, sweet
  5. Tito needs to not "rest" his players in bunches, especially against Greinke. Cameron, Beltre and Papi being "rested" for Hermida, Lowell and Varitek. Greinke is gonna rip through this lineup like a knife through hot butter
  6. It did matter. We didnt have to worry about him being thrown out. 3-0 with CC cruising. Lovin it right now
  7. 43 strikes, 30 balls? The old DiceK is back.
  8. Cervelli has a great approach to the plate. But without Jose Molina, we're toast /sarcasm. Pleased with CC looking sharp. Tex hit a ball hard into the shift, probably the best ball he's hit this yr. Maybe, just maybe, he's ready to break out. Cano looks like a damn beast up there. I wonder if he started drinking ARod's Kool Aid. He never used to get around on an inside pitch like that. Also, love having Gardner on this team. He just makes things so interesting
  9. Held his own thru 3. 2 seamer flattened out after that and he was meat. His slider was off all game as well. Sometimes you have those days
  10. Too early to panic, but they certainly aren't starting off like they did last yr
  11. If the Yankees have their way, they work the pitch count up on Price and get him out after 5, which would get Gardy back in the game
  12. Putting two lefties in the lineup at the bottom would be a problem. I think Grandy is gonna get abused tonight
  13. And this post is an epic failure. Saying that Wake throwing a QS, when he's a knuckleballer who by his very definition is unpredictable is being a spoiled fan. If Wake goes 6-ish and gives up 3ER, the sox will win. I wouldnt call that a failure from the sox perspective
  14. I am a Yankee fan. I love seeing sox despair. But yours seems disingenuous.
  15. Go for it. It will make you leave faster
  16. OPS is a much better tool. His overall OPS was poor for someone at his position.
  17. The only reason why the Sox-Guardians game would go 6 hours would be if the sox offense scored 47 runs, which is entirely possible against that complete piece of s*** team.
  18. so why are the Rays THAT much better than the Red Sox that you are convinced that they will finish below them?
  19. Now I think you have earned some time off. Polluting other threads is the first step, but then creating threads with the intent to stir a fight is the second. I am sure you'll enjoy your time off.
  20. That is very strange, especially since Ortiz was an automatic out with a FB over 90 through June last yr. Maybe, his aging has caused him to have trouble adjusting. You know, you are taught to sit fastball and adjust curveball. As you get older, you need to cheat fastball, which makes the breaking pitches and changeups that much more effective
