    In 10 games, the sox have scored: 9, 4, 1, 3, 8, 8, 2, 6, 0, 1 runs. Outside of playing KC, their runs/game = 3.28. That aint gettin it done

    It may or may not be disrespect, but it is in their contracts. Also, I wouldnt agree to get sent down either. Why? Because once you go down, there is no limit to how long they can keep you there. They can let you rot in Pawtucket for the whole yr. For a big league player, that's a lot to swallow

    You know, the crazy way this season has started for Boston, watch them pull this one out. The young Buch against the seasoned ace of the Rays in Shields

    You guys hit the nail on the head. You don't have an offense that can absorb a black hole in the 5 spot. Last yr, you had Youks and Bay killing the ball till Papi heated up. Now, with Bay gone, your lineup needs a presence in the 5 hole. By May 1, you'll see a change

    4 straight series victories to start the yr against 4 formidable opponents with two of those series on the road. Cannot complain. The biggest thing is the starting pitching. CC and AJ have put in 4 solid starts out of 6, with NY winning 5 of those games. Pettitte spun two masterpieces, NY winning both. Hughes, though a bit wild, was strong enough to hold a good Anaheim club at bay. The only blemish is Javy who has seemed to flatten out his breaking pitches.

    Through 3 rotations, CC and AJ have allowed 11ER in 38IP and have won 4 games.

    Okay, let's put it this way. If you could go after one Angel catcher, who would it be, why and what would you be willing to give up. Bear in mind, the Halos have a strong catching prospect in their 3rd string spot who is out of options

    Aceves was not sharp. He couldnt locate his cutter, which is his bread and butter pitch. Forced him to come in on the hottest power hitter in the game right now and he got burned. Wondering if the back is still bothering him
