    I'll tell you, I love having Francisco Cervelli in the lineup right now. Would much rather he be in the lineup than Winn. He plays great defense, has good speed and is an absolute pest at the plate. He wont hit .400 for the entire yr. Hell, he probably wont finish over .300 on the yr, but he just doesnt give up at bats. He'll bunt, he'll battle, he'll run. Keeps you on your toes, and he is directly responsible for that run

    He is pretty f***ing good nowadays. Took him awhile to get over TJS. Good to see Jeter-Tex-ARod get that inning going though. Tex is up to .215

    You laugh, but tell me how Lars gets added into this lineup? For Youk? He's an all-star. For Papi? Even if Papi wasnt hitting, the sox would still need a middle of the order bat and they'd be more inclined to go with Lowell. For Beltre? Not while Beltre is still hitting well. The point is, he's blocked for this yr, and the only way for him to come up is to play 1 of 2 positions that are decisively offense first. And since most rookies struggle for the most part initially, it wouldnt make sense for the sox to make that move.

    Garcia has to be passed through waivers since he was on the 40 man. Dont think any team would claim him since he cannot be placed on the 60 day DL due to his MiLB status and therefore cannot be removed from the 40 man. Sounds like he'll accept an outright assignment assuming he doesnt get claimed

    Yes they did, a Yankees of 6 yrs ago. In case you havent noticed, the Yankees are the defending champs right now, so things changed a bit

    And how did it turn out? He got the job last yr, lost it due to a slow start and showed that he didnt make a lot of contact off the bat. But, he adjusted and now makes a ton of contact and has had a fast start
