  1. you know this Bates kid we took was an 8th rounder last year and hit .425 in the Cape League. He is a first baseman who also plays catcher
  2. ive got a new response. If you were at a game and a guy hit a home run, you are sitting next to the dugout, do you mind if he gives you a high five? Heck no, you now love that guy because he is good to the fans. Good for Lastings, that was no mistake, that is called getting about 10 lifetime fans
  3. well, go Pauley tomorrow, this game is toast, and if we use any more decent pitchers, the series will be too, This is the only time i will ever be ok with bringing in Seanez against the Yanks
  4. nevermind, I thought you ment that the whole play was void and it was foul. However I later saw what u meant, which is exactly what i meant. Im sure this is confusing too, lets forget about it
  5. Wow, i said that like 10 minutes ago and we still havent gotten it yet
  6. now that my friend is the end of the game
  7. no, Cairo was out, because Damon started off after the argument
  8. ok, after Varitek tagged the batter, he was out. The ball was ruled fair but Tek tagged the batter. Since the guy going to first is out, the guy going to second has to be tagged, because it is not a force out, Gonzalez did not tag williams
  9. Williams had to be tagged because after Cairo was out it was not a force out, and Gonzalez did not make the tag, so Cairo is still out but Bernie is not
  10. it was fair and a DP, then reversed at the drop of Joe Torre's hat and called a fair ball out for Cairo but Williams was not tagged
  11. are you f-ing kidding me? can this game get any worse
  12. sorry, i didnt think it needed that much explanation
  13. when Nomar sat out the game against NY in 2004 and sox fans questioned his drive and passion
  14. do I sense a Nomar moment?
  15. Just a couple comments: I like the lineup adjustment to move Tek down and get him swinging again. Ramirez is a beast against Mussina Philips has been the key to the Yanks lineup with the injuries and we better hope Cano doesnt keep getting on against us
  16. i think Warfield might be the number two corner to start off, but other than that looks great
  17. id say he was testing the waters today to see which guy he would use in the 8th of a Yankee game. I think Van Buren is going to be in there with Foulke for the 6 and 7 if needed
  18. Yanks lose to Baltimore, ARod makes last out
  19. Hey at least Zach Miner, MLB debut, is pitching for them
  20. i would just like to point out that Granderson has numerous similarities to Coco Crisp
  21. Lester is coming up for the Texas doubleheader. Hansen is going nowhere unless they do something weird with Paps. Pedroia could come up if Gonzalez goes into a bigger slump than he is always in
  22. at least the Sox usually dont go two games in a row scoring just one run off of a starter
  23. on the 3-2 counts, he has 422 at bats, a .246 average, .489 OBP, 163 Ks Just another stat: Men on and 2 outs: 29 HRs, 207 RBIs, .267 AVG in 649 at bats
