  1. Nice throw back Coco, 3 hops.
  2. It's called Bruins.
  3. Yeah I really get pissed at the old guys with the notebooks of photographs, and baseball cards. I go to every game with an official ball and a sharpie, and a program, see how many I can get on the one ball, put it in a box and place it on my dresser with my other balls. I've gone to 2 spring trainings and have been getting autographs for 3 or 4 years now. It's a good time, and I would never sell them.
  4. Okay. I didn't say he was cheap, I said he was good in his role.
  5. Looks like Hornsby will win, so the team is now: C - 1B - Lou Gehrig, New York Yankees 2B - Rogers Hornsby, St. Louis Cardinals 3B - SS - OF - Babe Ruth, New York Yankees OF - Pete Rose, Cincinnati Reds OF - Ted Williams, Boston Red Sox DH - SP - SP - SP - RP - RP - What's next, 3B or SS?
  6. Should be a good one, hopefully the O's show up.
  7. I gotta shiiit load of autographs, last night I got Polanco and Casey.
  8. Bonderman didn't sign an autograph for me yesterday...
  9. No question I would but I don't have my shirt yet!
  10. Goin to the game as well, where are your seats?
  11. We're going to sweep the Tigers.
  12. Morgan, Hornsby
  13. ...another random, useless, post.
  14. Sox are gonna sweep the Tigers.
  15. Yeah no way Nixon starts, Pena has at 3 or 4 tools better than him. Nixon is a better fielder, and that might be it. I've seen Pena throw a couple, and he's got a pretty good arm. I don't know if this is correct or not, coming out of a big guy it just might look like a harder, longer throw, but 3 or 4 of Pena's tools are superior to Nixon. Nixon was a great player here, a dirt dog, loved by all, but his time here is done. As long as he isn't in pinstripes next year, give him a very loud ovation.
  16. Vernon Wells won't be a Yankee because they would demand Phillip Hughes and then some, or major league ready pitching like Chien-Ming Wang His salary is $4.7 million this season, so taking the load off Toronto wouldn't be necessary. Toronto is also not that stupid as to trade him to NY, a division rival. Toronto for the last couple years has gone into the season thinking they can contend, so it would be a very bad idea to trade him to NY. I really don't see Wells being traded, but you never know.
  17. Better than Seanez and Tavarez probably. Shiiiit there is a loud 6 year old outside absolutely screaming her head off and my dog is goin nuts.
  18. Yeah, Pena is a fantastic hitter, MUCH better than Nixon. He as also shown he is an adequate fielder, one of our main concerns. I would keep Trot on the team for the remainder of this year, give time off to all 3 outfielders occasionally, and put him on the playoff roster if we get there, but Pena has got to start this and next year.
  19. This was a big game, we do not lose any ground, still 2 back of the Yanks, 2 back of the White Sox, tied with the Twins for 2nd place, as they play tonight. Go for the sweep tomorrow, if we win tomorrow, exactly what we needed after the roadtrip and before the tough 8 games.
  20. Yeah was it the grounder up the middle off Mo?
  21. I know, therefore not errors, and not extra outs. He gets to those balls, but doesn't make outs.
