    Verlander doesn't necesarily have a tired arm I think, the Tigers are resting him now and then because he's never pitched this much, as a precautionary thing. He has the league lead in wins and a sub 3 ERA, that's Cy Young worthy right there.

    Does anyone ever say we learned it the easy way? Like I hear people always talking about learning s*** the hard way, but nobody says I learned it the easy way. If there is no easy way, then it's all hard! :(

    Pettitte doesn't get 13 million IMO, as his contract year was a big disappointment. As for riverside's post, Ward was a guy who I thought they may target as a backup for this year, but they ended up with JT Snow. We'll see how it pans out, Loretta and Nixon are likely done.

    Wells is a big league pitcher, but he's gettin' up there in years. I would prefer not to rely on him as our #4 starter. #5, fine, but not 4. If he can just keep us in the games, same with Johnson, that's enough.

    Mo wasn't vintage, he was wild and almost blew it again. But, yeah, they did come back well.

    Haha, no way we're taking all 5 in that series. It would be awesome to take 4 of 5, and I would settle for 3 for 5, but no chance in hell we're sweeping with Johnson and Wells pitching.

    According to the Globe, the Sox had a closed door meeting before last night's game. Didn't work. Tito has to get tossed in tonight's game, this was brought up earlier, to show these guys we gotta play the games against the Royals and Orioles and Rays. It would be nice to open a big can of whoopass on the Royals tonight, with Curt going, and carry it back home for the big homestand. Don't worry about Papelbon, he will be fine. This kid has the mental toughness to close, he's just going through a rocky time.

    I got cold sweats when that came off the bat. Just get out of the f***ing inning. We better score at least 2 next inning, cause at best our pitcher is Hansen.

    Well, well, well, this is how it's gunna be. This team is NOT playing well at all, we must do something. This is absolute s***. One of the best closers in baseball blows a save to the worst team in baseball, something just ain't right.
