  1. It's about f***ing time...
  2. Sacks full, 2 out, Upton vs. Timlin. Heeere we go.
  3. Well done Lester. This gives you another 2 starts. Hmm...can we score a run against the worst bullpen in baseball?
  4. Ugh Manny runs into an out again.
  5. Whatever. I go to Fenway 10 times a year and I've never heard anyone say anything racist. But I don't sit in the bleachers...
  6. I said it because the picture was of Shields.
  7. If you have normal people seats, don't expect to be comfortable
  8. It's Kazmir, not Shields tonight.
  9. Wake was awesome. Still 4 up in the East.
  10. Way Back! WAY BAAAACK!
  11. I'm going to this one. Win please.
  12. Fukudome is having elbow surgery. http://www.japanball.com/news.phtml?id=10268
  13. Gagne. I'm not giving up on Gagne yet.
  14. I'm in.
  15. Lovely. Millar walkoff homer, 6-3 Orioles. This team is flat.
  16. I'm a bit confused about Snyder in this game. I know they're thinking that they can use him until they take the lead, but my god, it's Kyle Snyder.
  17. My glasses are a little foggy...what's going on?
  18. Does he throw an eephus, or is that just in video games?
  19. Great for him for being persistent. Wasn't he a highly regarded prospect as a pitcher? I remember him walking a ridiculous amount of guys, throwing the ball to the backstop constantly.
  20. It was fun. Nothing like 8 1/2 hours at Fenway sitting in the boiling sun. I had very nice seats, 7 rows back right next to Canvas Alley (the side closer to home plate). I got there about 30 minutes early for the Lowell game, I got a couple autographs from Lowell players I'd never heard of, and settled in for a quick paced pitchers duel. Hudson Valley (Tampa Bay Devil Rays) scored one in the top of the first, thanks to 2 Lowell errors. Another error was made by HV in the bottom half, but after the jitters went away, the fielding was fine. Jose Capellan was good, going 6 innings allowing no earned runs. Lowell went on to win the game in the 9th on a walkoff double, 2-1. Lowell and Hudson Valley fled the field, and Portland and Harrisburgh (Washington Nationals) warmed up. I hounded for some more autographs and got a few, including one from Justin Masterson and Aaron Bates. This one was basically the opposite of the Lowell game, as it was already 3-3 after 1 inning. After an hour of baseball, it was only the bottom of the 2nd. Michael Bowden was bad. Don't remember the exact numbers, but it was 3 or so innings and 8 runs. Harrisburg blew it open early, taking an 8-3 lead. Portland came storming back with 5 runs in the 6th, including a solo homer from Andrew Pickney. The teams exchanged runs in the 8th, but Harrisburg got 2 in the 9th. Portland rallied again, scoring 3 in the 9th to win a back and forth game. It was a fun all around experience. Got to see some of the game's future stars, had the best seats I've ever had at Fenway, got on the jumbo tron, got some autographs. It was awesome, I recommend it next year.
  21. Ugh, looked like Crisp chucked it into the ground right there. f***. That sucked. What the f*** is Gagne doing so far?
