  1. I think you could make arguments for all three being around as good as McCann. I mean I don't think it's a colossal mistake to hit him 8th, it's just not something I would do.
  2. Why McCann so low? And yeah, good call on picking a CF.
  3. The top three in their lineup is a force to be reckoned with in terms of the Hall of Name. Clete, Placido and Magglio? Wow.
  4. Just for kicks, let's check out your lineup. C-McCann 1B-Adrian Gonzalez 2B-O-Dog 3B-Zimmerman SS-Bartlett OF-Hawpe OF-Ludwick OF-Cruz DH-Empty One thing that stands out is that you basically have 3 right fielders. Ludwick can play LF too, and you could draft a CF and move someone to DH to solve that problem. If I were to make a batting order, I'd go: 1. Brad Hawpe 2. Orlando Hudson 3. Brian McCann 4. Adrian Gonzalez 5. Nelson Cruz 6. Ryan Zimmerman 7. Ryan Ludwick 8. Jason Bartlett It's RH heavy on the bottom, so whoever your last hitter is I would try to make him a lefty and squeeze him somewhere around the 6-7 hole. The fact that Ludwick is hitting 7th (which is just my opinion, I don't think he's as good as 2008) confirms that you have a pretty damn good lineup.
  5. Woo we're moving along here. Let's goooooooo I'd love to pick tonight.
  6. 2 straight guys who I wanted went off the board in Johnson and Cruz. Nice picks.
  7. I definitely wouldn't send Joba to the bullpen. At this point he's shown he can get guys out a 3rd, even 4th time around the order. If I'm the Yankees, I keep him as a starter for the long haul and try to trade for a setup man.
  8. Yeah, the defense is another big issue. The way I have it, Youk plays 7/9, Lowell 6/9 and Ortiz 5/9. Considering they've only sat Ortiz a couple times this year I thought that was reasonable. But I could see it at 4/9.
  9. This is a total guess, but I would say: 4 games is Youk/Lowell, 3 games is Ortiz/Youk, 2 games is Ortiz/Lowell.
  10. He'll play some NL games.
  11. I'll go with Ortiz. Even including 2009 he has a higher OPS and HR/AB than Mo in Boston.
  12. I hear he takes steroids and is gay. Confirm/deny?
  13. I don't even know what to say about Papelbon.
  14. Tying run up, nobody out. Fascinating.
  15. MR. PINK HAT MAKE YO PICK.
  16. Good 6th for MDC. Send him back for the 7th?
  17. Now we just need the catcher's interference RBI for the trifecta.
