    Just when things happen like: a. The offense goes into a prolonged slump. b. One of our corner infielders is gimpy and or goes on a DL stint c. The Yankees/Rays shave multiple games off our lead in a very short time frame. I get your point about 2004 but changes were made. Do you really think the Sox are going to platoon Mike Lowell the rest of the year with a bat they trade for? Not getting Teixeira was a mistake and it looks like it will bite the Sox in the ass for this year and the next few.
