    Why is everyone spazzing? He was one of baseball's top 3 defensive 1B by UZR in ought eight and 14 and 15 FRAA over the course of the last 2 seasons. He's a much much better defensive player than Adam Laroche. He had a .372 OBP in 2007 with LAA and he has one over .350 this season. I bet if he isn't flipped, he's used in late game defensive situations, a la Mientkiewicz in 2004.

    Mike Gonzalez, reliever I think. LaRoche was traded for Kotchman anyway. Marginal upgrade, but I do believe Kotchman is the better player.

    What a fantastic post. I have the same frustrations RE: Drew and lefties, he needs to play more against them, this is a fault of Tito.

    What do you expect from Drew? If he hits .270, puts up a .380 OBP, and plays stellar defense in right, then he's worth what he's getting paid.

    I learned a long time ago that the mouth breathers that follow this team who miss Mr. Pine Tar Helmet would never give Drew a fair shake in this town. You'd think after Sept./Oct. 2007 and last year that he'd get some slack. Nope.

    Mikey Lowell was the 2007 WS MVP, so any and all criticism of his is stupid and shouldn't be taken seriously. And he has an awesome goatee. durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
