Schilling also has better command than Papelbon, and has begun to throw more off speed pitches later in his career. As for the "wicked slider", I haven't seen it with any consistency to show me it's an out pitch, and I've never seen him throw a breaking ball.

OT, but am I the only one here who has reservations about Papelbon as a starter? I don't think he has the off-speed pitch for it, and I think he may be better suited to remain in the closer's role.
