Where did I say it would be acceptable for Brady to not raise his child? I said since he had the child without being married to the person who is having his kid, then that projects him to be a negative role model for people.
As for the second part of your argument, if you conveyed it in a way that didn't make you seem like you were 6 years old or typing blindfolded then maybe I'd address it.
I honestly don't know what you're trying to tell me, so let's break it down...
"children are probably born Out of wedlock more then they are born In wedlock" - I've never really heard of this, while the cases of children being born outside of marriage has certainly increased, I'd still think married couples have more children than those who aren't. I'd like to see some factual evidence on the matter.
you would want children in foster care and such rather than be with there biological parents - Again, I said nothing about shirking their responsibilities as parents. I would like to see Tom Brady raise his kid, and by all accounts he is going to. But what's the image he's portraying here? As a role model...is he supposed to be having children with women he's not married to?
And as for the whole "society is messed up" argument...yeah I guess you could say it is the case, but what is going to have to happen to change it? I admire Brady for accepting responsibility and saying he's going to take care of the child, but not everyone who has children outside of marriage is as financially well off as he is. it's a lot harder for an 18 year old who knocked up his girlfriend to support the child than it is for Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady.
I just think that if society as a whole is going to change for the better, then we have to bring attention to things like this. It's good that Brady accepted responsibility...but wouldn't it have been better if he and Moynahan had a kid if they were married?
