I like ital's idea. Here's how it will work...I am going to post all of the matchups at once. Owners will have until Monday at 8:00 AM to explain their rationale for why people should vote for their teams. Starting at 8:00 Monday, a 48 hour voting window starts. After the 48 hours, the team with the most votes advances until we have a winner.

I think the success of my team in this round, like the last round, will be because of my fromtcourt. Horford is a better player than Bogut and Gasol is the best big in the game and will eat Josh Smith for lunch on both ends of the court. Guarding Lebron is a nightmare but I think I have a solid rotation of guys to do it with. I think this once again comes down to philosophy. If you think it's important to draft talent and hope they mesh, go with WB. if you believe in chemistry and how a team works together, I think my team is the better choice.

That dropped player then becomes available to the rest of the waiver wire, and Coco drops to the bottom. The next person in line can add any free agent OR the dropped player from the player (s) before him, and so on and so forth. IF YOU ELECT TO PASS, please notify the thread ASAP and the next in line is up. HOWEVER, if the player behind the player who passes drops a player, then the first in line is the one who passed their turn. As an example. Coco drops Joe Flacco and adds Brian St. Pierre. Youker passes. Ital drops Felix Jones and adds Brandon Jackson. Youker can claim Joe Flacco as he would be at the top of the waiver wire, not Flynnatic. Hope that makes sense. At 8:00 PM on Friday, this waiver portion is over and you are required to have a full team, at which point we will do power rankings.

Ital, as a UConn fan like yourself, I hate myself for picking Reddick as there hasn't been a college player I've hated more - but he has turned himself into a really good bench player in the NBA. he's a great option to have for about 18 mins a night, which is all I will require of him. I think the prevailing thoughts in this thread a fairly accurate, but I'd also like to point out that if injuries played even the slightest part in this thing, my team would win by a landslide. Just another reason I find that rule to be a little dubious.

Ital, please make Youker's makeup picks for him. Were only waiting on those and it won't make much of a difference who he drafts at the end of this thing.

I find first to four too arbitrary for my liking. I'd prefer anset voting window (something like 48 hours) for each round and just put all the matchups out there at once.

I didn't say his team would beat yours. All I'm saying is I shouldn't have been 4-1 with his vote being the only one for his team. I'm fairly confident that a 7game series between these two teams goes at least six. Hell, I think Westbrook is good for one win by himself, did you see what he did to the Celtics on Friday without Durant?
