  1. Ok. Explain. With cited material.
  2. Look, it's simple. If you can replace Manny with someone who doesn't cost as much but is a better, or comparable, all-around player, you do it.
  3. Pretty much what SOTK said. Would you have described the Rockies outfield of Matt Holliday Ryan Spilborghs, and Brad Hawpe as "ballin'"? If not, is there some inherent racism there? My answer is, yes.

  5. Romo with a TD pass to Owens early.
  6. I'd take a 4 TD performance from Romo in like, a 31-28 loss.
  7. ORS has a point when you make this thread and then cry racism in the "Clemens vs. Bonds" thread. It's OK, you're in HS so I don't expect much in the form of maturity or common sense.
  8. No, it really is the worst thread ever.
  9. Worst thread ever.
  10. Is this even a question? He pitched for the Yankees last season. In many Boston fans' opinions, he f***ed them over. Ditto Toronto. The Yankees really have no basis of complaining because he came back to them last season, albeit for millions of dollars. The mention of the Yankees is contingent on the fact that he pitched for them last season. Well, if Curt Schilling is the one that is going to bring about those changes, it speaks to the lack of confidence that everyone should have in the people in charge of baseball. Schilling has the right to say what he wants. It may not be reasonable, but it's his opinion.

  12. Doc Rivers will be this team's undoing.
  13. Skinned Knees? You willing to give up Ellsbury, after all the dick sucking you did of him in October?
  14. What is the fascination with Cabrera? I don't get it.
  15. That's an awful, atrocious deal. Where would Crede play?

  19. Love how every player is saying he did HGH for rehab. Also: [youtube=My New Haircut]4JMOh-cul6M POWERBARS
  20. Wow, he refuses to sign an autograph? And that makes him a jerk? How dare professional athletes live their own lives. They should cater to the fans at every whim. If you referenced Clemens' outward arrogance, or the games he starts every season with new contracts, or his relations with the media, etc. It may hold more weight. But to reference one personal anecdote? About how he wouldn't sign an autograph for free? Not a very strong argument, but hey, that appears to be your MO.
  21. You have no concrete evidence to add, and cite a "mindset." No one is saying Clemens is having it tougher than Bonds, but you make it seem like no one is criticizing Clemens, which is untrue. Also, we have had years of evidence built against Bonds and this is the first real concrete evidence against Clemens. Using the race card is completely irresponsible especially considering the lack of evidence you bring to the table. What were the points brought up? Enlighten me. It seems like you'd agree with them if they are based off of color. Then I'd advise you wait more than a week to pull the race card. Again, completely irresponsible.
  22. In my opinion, he merely investigated the issue of steroids in baseball. He never intended it to be punitive, and he even said as much. I do feel he needed to include the names because the report would have been a mockery without them, but he shouldn't have been the one to lead the investigation in the first place.
