  1. way to go trot, come on now tek send em through
  2. WO WO! sit down Johjima. Foulke did his job. Time for Manny and Big Papi to do theirs
  3. there's 1 out, 2 more to go
  4. i just got back from class and trying to catch up with what has happened thus far, i see manny has a few hits and big pappi is being big pappi. dinardo it seems did his job. come on sox, let's get some runs.
  5. The only knock on Clement is when he loses his edge, it's lost.
  6. yea i woke up to a 3-0 record and a 1.64 era.
  7. After Shill's game last night I had a dream that he went undefeated, won a cy young, and led the Sox back to the World Series.
  8. are you serious? come on, Office Space dude.
  9. All I can say if he ultimately signs with the Sox: sick. Sick would describe how solid a starting rotation the Sox would have. It deffently would put them over the top. The Clemens situation is similar to another athelete, Brett Favre. All I can say to both atheletes: MAKE UP YOUR f***ING MINDS. Though the whole Clemens situation is more civilized (the man already 'retired'), I think it will all come down to money and if the team he chooses can keep his winning image intact.
  10. man watch out for BC next few years, they are a damn good team.
  11. isn't there a seperate forum where you attempt to badmouth me directly so you dont pollute this forum?
  12. "There's no way I can go play for the Yankees, but I know they're going to come after me hard. It's definitely not the most important thing to go out there for the top dollar, which the Yankees are going to offer me. It's not what I need." - Johnny Damon, May 3, 2005. No Johnny, you just had to go find a boyfriend. Which just happened to be in New York and just happens to wear #2.
  13. thanks
  14. Hi, I guess I am supposed to introduce myself. Red Sox fan from WI Mutual Sox fan all my life, especially when I could catch them a few times while the Brewers were still in the AL, but really came to love them after I visited Fenway 5 years back. Student @ UW.... thats about it
  15. I think the trade eventually will pan out in favor of the Sox. You can't judge a trade only this far into the season, at the end of the season we can look back and see if we shot ourselves in the foot or not. But even at that, it has to be at least a season or two before I begin to say this trade was a steal for the reds. Sure Willy Mo has a tendency to chase bad pitches and isn't the most consistant hitter, but now with hitters such as Manny and Ortiz arround giving him advice, the sky is the limit (hopefully).
  16. I think Coco is going to have a very prosperous career as a Red Sox. Not only is he going to be scorning on a lot of runs with guys like ortiz and manny behind him, it seems that his defense is pretty good. Coco's bat I think won't develop to be as explosive as Johnny Pinstripe's was, but that contract was a great idea at least to lock up a position for a few years and not have to worry about filling voids every offseason. And as far as that contract goes for Coco, what does that mean for guys like Adam Stern or Dustan Mohr? Trade bait or replacements for Trot in a few seasons?
