  1. he was taking some big hacks, but didnt connect on any. it seems though that those hacks were out of pure frustration. he'll come around, he always does.
  2. I guess you don't know what sarcasm is. COME ON SOX
  3. if you could read, i said that i was happy he went out. not that i was happy that he was hurt. but if wishing a pitcher that lit us up tonite to go out of a game is sadistic, i guess i am.
  4. i was glad to see him go out. though, the choice was mostly made cuse he alreay threw 97 pitches by that point. i am sure if he got that cramp earlier in the game he would have stayed in. but i agree, wanting to see he him out does not make you a sadistic bastard.
  5. hahahah very true. i just lost my 1b tonite. derek lee is out 8-10 weeks with a fractured wrist. good think i have youk. NICE CATCH!
  6. kazmir out, harper in, time to get some runs
  7. Strrrrrrrrrikkkkkkkkkkkkkeeeeeee OUT
  8. met's needed "quick" starters, not a project then. but yea i bet they are kicking themselves now.
  9. damit, 6k's, but 80 pitches so hopefully he is out of here soon.
  10. come on sox, let's get some runs.
  11. he'll hit one early, the first inning or the second, and get a stern warning but in the fifth or sixth inning, if he is still in the game, he will peg someone and get tossed. so, 2. but i wouldnt be suprised to see anyone get the boot after one hit batsman because of the previous history.
  12. i would have like to see stern stay up till coco got back. but i cant complain, by going down to the pawsox he will be able to play more and get a chance to work on his bat. thanks stern for filling in.
  13. he is a necessary hate. we need him cuse he is a lefty and hate him cuse he is still a yank at heart. either way, this is the last year he will be in the league. i say let the fatman walk after this season and go after scott kazmir. the kid is only 22 i think and would fill that lefty role. last year he went 10-9 with the d-rays with a 3.77 era. i dont know how long the d-rays have him signed or anything, but that is who i want to see in a sox uniform.
  14. the commentators in MVP 2005 always say 'can of corn' and i took it as that it ment an easy catch. but that was an impressive and interesting little piece of history of the phrase, thanks for that tidbit.
  15. stern seems at this point is more comfortable in the show than mohr does. stern in the world baseball classic for canada ripped the us a new hole. i think he was one hit away from a cycle. his defense seems pretty solid, ie. last night and i think he had a few good grabs like that in the WBC. anyways, i would much rather see him play full time in aaa then just sit around on the bench. of course when the sox need him, call him up. but at this stage in his career it would only be a determent to just keep him on the bench and play him once a week, pinch hit or something like that. overall, stern i think has a brighter future as a major leaguer than mohr does.
  16. Mueller will always be a Sox in my mind, unless he suits up in the pinstripes. But Lowell is a solid replacement, a Gold Glover, cant really go wrong there. Sure his bat favors the Monster, but he cant suck on the road alllllll year. And yea, who does consider Beckett and Crisp poor or tierd? If anything, they were never in the spotlight enough to fade and become "poor" or "tierd". They are just warming up to have great careers in Boston.
  17. Markkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
