    I agree, there is a big difference between pitching someone tight (which is part of baseball) and throwing at a guy!

    He should get suspended for a while. He dropped his bat after the strikeout (which may have got im tossed) then as he was walking away he tossed his helmet at the ump. Now the ump was walking when he did it and it skidded by the ump (right where he had just been). If the ump hadn't have been moving it would have hit him in the shins. Very uncharacterisitc of bernie, but if they don't suspend him it sends an awful message!

    What's truly pathetic is how quick all the yank posters here disapeared once the game starting moving for the sox. It wasn't subtle---one minute they were here and the next--gone!

    I have to give YES their props tonight. Everytime there has been a questionable pitch--they shown both the side angle (to see if it was high enough) or the top angle (to see if it was on the plate). I wish more networks would do this becuase it takes a lot of the "that was a terrible call" crap off the table!

    Geez that was a blast by gonzo---he's looked great tonight! Keep it going gonzo! 6 of the 10 runs by the sox have been scored by #8 and #9 in the sox order!!!!!

    Again i only have experience when the sox are playing the whitesox in chicago---but from my point of view it's been terrible! Nice inning by the sox---now let's hope beckett didn't sit for too long!

    All announcers are homers in some respect--and they should be they are broadcasting games for their team. NESN and YES are both homers---however they are fair in what they call. For instance tonight that strikeout of Bernie looked questionable, but the yes guys took their time and got some key replays and showed that it was the right call. Also when players are due some respect hey usually get it--NESN and YES ( i have limited experience with yes) seem to give players their due even though they don't like it. The whitesox announcers are blind to the truth (at least the games that i have seen). Even if a call is the right call, the whitesox guys seem to get all upset and start bs'ing about how it was a crap call. Announcers can be homers, and it's expected--and as long as they are fair about it then i am fine---------------the whitesox guys thake homerism to another level!

    RJ seems to be going to that slider down and in to right handers when he needs a pitch. If the sox don't fall for it (which they haven't except lowell) then we will be doing well! He doesn't seem to trust his fastball!

    I am still going to watch the sox because i am a fan and want to see all the games! I don't have to like listening to Hawk and co. They are terrible to listen to with all their "sayings in unison". Couple that with the fact that they are the worst homer announcers that i have heard and it takes alot of patience---but still worth it to see the sox! Now if i could find a way to play the sox broadcast over the computer and mute the tv during those games then i would be ok!
