Check to see if Vernon Davis is undrafted, huge steal. If not, Watson should get some TD's but with the Pats offense, they usually use multiple TE's. Good team. 8.

I doubt this is true, I don't see it on ESPN or CBS Sportsline and it just sounds made up. Why would the Yankees do this trade? SoxFan1, do you listen to ESPN Radio Milwaukee or did you hear a rumor that they said it on there?

Is there any way I could be reinstated for the playoff push? I understand that I irked some people when I dropped those three players earlier in the year, but I guarantee that nothing like that will happen again. I have talked with SFoC and he said it's up to schillingouttheks but i am ineligible for the prize and I am fine with that...I just want to be unlocked for the fun of it so I can see if my team can do well in the playoffs. Please consider it, thanks.

Did anybody see what just happened, line drive foul ball off a fan in the stand's head and the person next to him catches it and starts jumping and dancing while the person who got hit in the head has blood coming out of his temple. Wow, talk about a jerk. -

He doesn't get blamed because it wasn't his fault for the entire team failing, last season in the ALDS, Jeter batted .333 with 2 homers and 5 RBIs...those are good clutch playoff statistics and not deserving of being blamed for the whole team losing.

I really hope we sign this guy if the price is right, a little coaching and major league adjustments could turn this guy into a legit middle of the rotation starter. That pitch is money and something that ML batters aren't used to.

Keep Lieber and Lidle away from Fenway, and the analyst was talking about a big move...meaning like a Smoltz or Abreu caliber player. Lidle and Lieber for a B-level prospect isn't a big move. It will definitely be interesting to see what Theo does.

Good point, watch the next two weeks of Braves box scores to see if Smoltz will be traded or not. If they think they have a shot at the playoffs, I don't see Smoltz being traded unless a similar pitcher of his caliber was going to Atlanta in return, and that isn't what we would be trading if we acquired him.

JERRY CRASNICK John,Let's put it this way: I've talked to a bunch of front office people the last few days, and they're all expecting Theo to do something big. I'm not quite sure what that is, but he's got a big move or two in his sights -- almost certainly to upgrade the pitching. I just saw this on the ESPN Sportsnation chat, pretty interesting...(I didn't ask the question).

You're obviously very frustrated, maybe it's because of the Sox losing 3 of 4 in this series, maybe it's because STiF made the prediction, or maybe it's because of me. I don't know who you're referring to when you talk about people talking smack. If it's about SFiT, he was just simply making a prediction and he happened to be right. If it's about me, I'm just backing up SFiT because he doesn't deserve to be told to shut up, all he did was make a prediction, he backed up his guess, and he was right. Also, it's kind of ironic that you're telling people to stop talking s*** when you tell me I suck at reading between the lines. You don't want him banned, but you want him to stop posting and to shut up and there is no reason for him to stop.

Many fans are worried about Beckett and they shouldn't, he is a good 2nd half pitcher and has a good postseason career under his belt. He has had some rough starts but we have to wait it out with this guy, he can't be any worse than he has been in some starts this season. Look for a strong rebound against KC this week. I expect Theo to acquire a SP by the deadline which should also help and Seanez could be replaced with a good bat off the bench. So at this point, we as Sox fans should just relax, enjoy the playoff push, and wait to see how Beckett pitches this week and what Theo does on July 31.

Whatever, this is like arguing the difference between a car and an automobile, you didn't say he should be banned but you said he should stop posting and shut up. The bottom line is that SFiT should not be banned, nor should he need to shut up. He made a good prediction and whether he made the prediction or not, the Sox would have lost 3 of 4. If you should be mad at anyone, it should be the Red Sox players and management for assembling the players that lost 3 of 4 games not SFiT for prediciting it.

God, I hate how whenever ESPN gets a new tool..(virtual strike zone, super super slow mo)..they are so proud and have to show it on every at bat and they feel the need to brag about it 5 times an inning. It's cool after one or two hits but after that, it's pure overkill.
