  1. Nice play by Loretta, made it look easy. He's such a bum on defense, designate him for assignment and bring up Pedroia...
  2. They're definitely hitting Pap hard this inning.
  3. Manny just saved Papelbon right there.
  4. Hopefully we can produce a run right here, LET'S GO WILY MO!
  5. Haha, did anyone just hear the fox announcer say, "the 40 year old vi...right hander, Mike Timlin". That could have been bad.
  6. Almost makes up for his collection of blunders the past few days, but not quite.
  7. This other announcer is light in his loafers.
  8. I still can't believe we have Johnson pitching every 5th day.
  9. Let's make this two in a row.
  10. Agreed. An empty 300? It seems pretty full to me...walk off hits, and .300 is .300 anyway you spin it, as long as he's hitting the ball and getting on base, there isn't much more you could ask for from a guy like Loretta.
  11. Oh my god, one of the greatest catches I've ever seen in my life.
  12. Boomer is looking good early, hopefully he can keep it up.
  13. Haha, you're right.
  14. Great news.
  15. ...and the best part is that he'll only get better.
  16. Nope, nothing that could actually improve what we have now, we just have to hope our current staff picks it up.
  17. Tomorrow night is a key game for him, he obviously was terrible in his first start and gave up a lucky 1 ER in 6 innings (5 runs and 8 hits) last start. If he can't get it done against Baltimore, (and when I say get it done, I mean at least 6 IP and around 2 ER, 3 at most) then he's just about done.
  18. In the past 2.1 IP, Papelbon has given up 5 hits, 3 ER, and has two blown saves and a loss. We all saw what happened to Liriano this week, as he went on the DL after possibly being overused. Papelbon is a rookie and has pitched many innings for a rookie closer, any chance his arm is being worn out? I personally he's just hitting a little rut and he'll recover but with so many young pitchers missing starts and being injured, it's enough to raise some eyebrows.
  19. Nice to have you here.
