    Soooo....I am in God Foresaken Cleveland for work until 7/5, yes 3 weeks. Had to buy mlb.tv for a month, not a great picture but at least have the game. NICE 2nd inning Lackey, keep it up goofy!

    From the Globe: * Francona announced that Andrew Miller, who reached an agreement on an option clause to remain with the club, will be called up from Pawtucket and start Monday's game against the San Diego Padres. Francona indicated a corresponding roster move would be in the offing, but declined to stay who it might involve.

    Lowrie on the 15-day disabled list Posted by Nicole Auerbach June 17, 2011 04:49 PM By Nicole Auerbach, Globe Correspondent Some injury notes from manager Terry Francona's pregame press conference: * Shortstop Jed Lowrie was placed on the disabled list with a shoulder injury, and Drew Sutton has been brought back up to replace him on the roster. "Jed got an MRI this morning, and the MRI was actually pretty good," Francona said. "Structurally, it didn't look like there was any significant damage, which is really good." Francona said the results of Lowrie's MRI will be sent to Dr. Lewis Yokum in California. Lowrie will rest and start receiving treatment on his shoulder. Francona didn't give a name for the type of shoulder injury it is, but he said there's swelling, bruising, and a loss of strength. "Regardless of what we've found, when you take a swing like that and it hurts like that, we better slow him down a little bit," Francona said.
