If that's true then it's Henry with one of his worst moments, ever. I felt that Tito should take some time off from managing anyway. I wish him nothing but the best. Far from perfect but far from the "comatose" manager some wish to accuse him of being during his Red Sox tenure. Nothing anyone posts will change my mind. As always, to each his own.

That's a bit premature after only one season.

Peter Abraham recently posted that it's gone on too long and he no longer really cares what the compensation will be. Glad "the great" Bud Selig stepped in. Lightening fast decision maker there.

I must have read different Globe articles than you did. They completely threw Tito under the bus in typical Boston media fashion, bringing up the alleged prescription drug thing and his marriage problems. I had never heard of those issues before the collapse. The Boston media craps on anyone who leaves, they always have.

R.I.P. Gary Carter. Didn't like you in 86 but whatever. Class baseball player. My boyfriend in high school worshipped him. He was a fan first of him and second of the team he played for. Never understood that. I'm sure he's sad today.
