I totally agree!! but in all seriousness.. the Duke did have a great part in the 04 WS Championship Team.. a lot of the 2005 version I suspect was Management trying to get Duquette's fingerprints off the team.. which is why i believe that Trot could be gone at any time.. even though he was a Lou Gorman pick

well since you put it that way, riverside, I'd have to say that defensively it looks f***ing awesome... I do enjoy some great "D" and sorely missed Mientkiewicz in 2005 for his own brand of SS @ 1B

he's just very uh.... consistent with being inconsistent.. not sure how that reads but it's the best I can do and he's MFY all the way (although I suspect he's a closet Sox fan sometimes)

I haven't seen Marte play on the ML Level... I know what Clement is capable of... I also know what Crisp would bring to the table.. and he'd be rapping 2B's off the Wall all year long... Crisp is the best option the Sox have and they need to figure something out.. which I think they will..

I gotta agree with you Guns.. Clement carried the Sox for half of 2005 and even though he got worse as the season progressed I don't think it was THAT bad.... he's a good pitcher and yes, pitching is where the league suffers these days... I think another season with Varitek and no injuries will finally give Clement the chance to be what he truly is.. which is nasty!!!

Youk deserves a starting spot in my humble opinion... he's been on the club a little while now and gets on base which is all I can ask for (besides scoring runs.. haha) I think Youk everyday will be ok even if his numbers aren't what you'd want coming from the 1B position -
I'll second that I can't think of any big game he has WON but I'll give him a small amount of credit for pitching his ass of in game 7 of the 2001 WS.. even though the Yanks CHOKED that one away!

living far from New England I have to subscribe to the Extra Innings package so all the games are normally on NESN anyway.. I did hear that Sean McDonough might be doing a few Fri Night games this year as well..

I'm glad this thread has been made... thanks, Admin Zir I'm Wells and I am one of the former Herald guys... The Red Sox are my favorite baseball team and I am also Pats fan... I am glad that this forum was found.. lot of commotion involving the BH Shutdown and we're mostly Sox fans that enjoy having a place to communicate with each other... I hate getting off on the wrong foot and would like to be one of the first from the BH to say "Wazzzup?" and hopefully the Talksox guys and former BHers can find a happy medium.. we're not Bad I swear! -

I was told that almost the entire menu has food that makes you choke during high pressure situations .. such as: date with Tera Patrick (or any hot porn star for that matter) when you have only a small amount of time to eat (short lunch break) when you're trying to beat your pals in an eating contest... if you're just there to relax then I am sure the food doesn't make you choke a bit
