  2. July is a new month, June was rocky but we're finally back home and would like to see the offense going on a tear. Still the best Win% in baseball, lets get some wins under our belts before the all-star break. Game Info: Date: Saturday, July 31st, 2007 Teams: Texas Rangers (33-47) @ Boston Red Sox (49-30) First Pitch: 2:05 pm EDT Venue: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts TV: NESN Starting Pitchers: http://chipgriffin.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/929_tavarez.jpg (5-5 4.60) vs. http://www.naturalsportsonline.com/images/testimonials/loe.jpg (4-6 6.02) MOJO of the day: http://www.redsoxdiehard.com/diary/2003/pics/gm1.jpg Lansdowne Street where we'll hopefully be seeing some HRs tonight!
  3. Im talking about right now during this series and the road trip specifically. They are great hitters but they are struggling right now, both of them, and they aren't Julio Lugo up there but they have sub .800 OPS over this span and we're losing games. This season more than ever its easy to see how much we rely on them to produce and when they are producing even just average it hurts the team a lot. In past seasons if Youk-Ortiz-Manny were coming up in the 9th down one run there was a very good chance of winning that game no matter who's on the mound, but the Ortiz type moments and Manny moments that have saved us many times in the past are non-existant this season. We need them to produce like superstars all the time, thats asking a ton and normally they are but bottom line when they are struggling so is the team.
  4. So what then have they been figured out in this situation or something? Idk, but I can guarentee Papi of 2003-2006 wouldnt have struck out on a half-hearted swing like that and Manny would have at least had a better AB than that. I hate to criticize them since they are amazing players but when they are down like this it hurts the team a lot.
  5. never said they werent but it would be nice to end the HR drought here
  6. show me something Ortiz and Manny
  7. great now we have to face otsuka and gagne
  8. ight here we go, leadoff double for drew

  10. back-to-back leadoff walks, come on papi!
  11. I wouldnt look to deep into it, Murphy is average at best as a CF (defensively)
  12. lol I thought you were joking before the edit. But nice I can't wait to see Jacoby out there. Unfortunate for Cocco though since he was doing so well.
  13. wow 1 hitter
  14. another very nice outing: 7 IP, 3 hits, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K
