Best Game-- Mothers Day, amazing win Best Moment-- Back to Back to Back to Back homeruns against the Yankees Disappointment of a Position Player-- Julio Lugo, obviously Disappointment of a Pitcher-- Wakefield, started off well and crapped the bed since, mixed in a few good starts but has been unreliable and has had two chances to really put the Yankees down and coughed both up. 1st Half Comeback Position Player-- Dustin Pedroia/Coco Crisp 1st Half Comeback Pitcher-- Josh Beckett Most Underrated Player-- Julian Tavarez, I know he started off bad but since May he has been fantastic at the backend of the rotation, I constantly feel people are underrating his season he's had thus far, he's not an ace but he's way more reliable IMO than Wake.

Very impressive outing, Lyle Overbay in his rehab was the only NH player to reach base (he drew both the walks and the single to end the no-hitter). 8 ground-outs-3 fly outs, along with 8 Ks. He's out of Lancaster now, he's a very interesting one to follow.

We also have a SP down at the moment if you forgot. Gabbard will not be in a playoff start and only one of Wake/Tavarez will start a game. Beckett/DiceK/Schilling will be matched up againts the other team's best starters so I wouldnt worry about that either. SP is not a problem right now, sure I can see you jump on Tavarez once he has a bad start but come on he's been very good the past 2 months, everyone has rough days. And as far as Gabbard is concerned he's had 2 good starts and 1 bad. If you believe Schilling is completely done than maybe you have a point that we need SP, but I don't believe he is and we'll get some good contributions down the stretch from him.

Josh Reddick in his first pro season for Single-A Greenville is putting up very impressive numbers. .345/.392/.545/.937

We just have to wait him out, and take a lot of pitches. He leads the league in walks and has a really high walk ratio (4.6 per 9). The TB bullpen is pretty bad so the goal should be to get him out by the 6th, easier said then done though.
