  1. Linebrink: 45 IP, 41 hits, 14 BB, 25 K, 3.80 ERA Snyder: 35.2 IP, 31 hits, 19 BB, 26 K, 3.03 ERA Im thinking we could cash in on Snyder here But seriously the Brewers got fleeced, Linebrink is a decent MR whos strike outs have completly fallen and he gives up a ton of HR.
  2. Good for him, no one else has the guts to say anything
  3. Im big on Inman, and IMO you dont trade top 30 prospects for a MR.
  4. what a stud: 6.2 IP, 3 hits, 2 ER, 0 BB, 10 K In the 4th he gave up a single up the middle and then a HR and that was the only mistakes he made. He is dominating AA hitters. On the season now: 26 IP, 10 hits, 3 ER, 5 BB, 32 K, 1.04 ERA thats 11.07 K/9, and a 6.4 K/BB
  5. No way, we dont need another 15 HR 1B whos signed to a massive contract and getting older. He still has that big Home-Away split (.954 vs. .832 OPS). VORP: Youkillis: 27.8 Helton: 25.7 Lowell: 24.2 Tex is the guy we need, we have enough OBP, Tex is a legit power hitter who would be the perfect #5 hitter
  6. idk about that, Lowell = 2 1st round draft picks after this season which is the same compensation they would get when Tex leaves in two seasons.
  7. better 2nd outing, 2 IP, 0 hits, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K
  8. I have a hard time seeing the Red Sox deal Lester at this point, maybe before he got called up but now with the spotlight on him I can't see the FO taking the hit after all this.
  9. this WB is just gold
  10. Lester, i watched NESN I heard those numbers from people at another forum
  11. fwiw espn and Cleveland game had him at 91-92
  12. Sox win! awesome win
  13. check out Harangs game for CIN tonight, 10 IP, 1 ER, 0 BB, 10 K that game is in the 12th still
  14. you guys are Staples apologists
  15. i love a good WB mason commericial
  16. ya probaly but im a Buchholz homer so my vision is clouded with him
  17. in the MIN vs Toronto game as someone mentioned earlier, Santana got hammered giving up 4 HR
  18. I wouldnt say he got out of the jam on luck, he struck out a guy, fielded a weak dribbler off the end of the bat and another strikeout.
  19. hes got one more in him
  20. I dont think he hits 97, Ive heard he hits mid-90's and operates in the low 90's and in that sense his velocity is down and he probaly is tired, but he can still be effective.
  21. I know his mechanics looked all wack for a while there but we really cant be so quick to pull the trigger to go to Tavarez. He settled down and got outs, let him work through stuff like this even if it doesn't look so good. Hes at 77 pitches he can pitch at least one more.
