  1. I think David Carr is going to retire next season if he keeps getting lit up anymore. He cant take too many more hits.
  2. dont you think that's alot of work on a really old arm?
  3. Cashman likes the cock/
  4. I think this isnt just a three team deal, but possibly a four or even five team deal. If this really does down I think we're going to see some major moves. Maybe saying goodbye to Coco, Trot, Lowell. And I know I'll get s*** for this, but maybe even Manny.
  5. You know what I don't like A-Rod or anything but I respect the guy. Anyone who can do their job while knowing he's not playing a postion where he should be and not complain about it, is alright in my book.
  6. Last night I was listening to the Yankees game and they talked about how the Phills said no without Philip Hughes in the package.
  7. Him and Casey Blake played the corner outfield spots. They switched off one and awhile. Coco was the CF till Sizemore took over. He played both corner outfield spots. Don't tell me when I watched him with my own two eyes.
  8. He did in Cleveland and that worked out fine. You don't need the strongest arm in the world as you guys care to thing. If Damon can any OF position with his arm then Coco can play right field.
  9. I go with Garnett though it's going to cost a killing to even think about prying him lose for that hell hole.
  10. Maybe one more
  11. Listen this is like last year. Alot of talk and no action yet. My guess is we're going to pick up a guy no one has said yet. Idk why but Westbrook just seems to me a guy we'are going to have sometime soon.
  12. Bress is coming off major shoulder surgery. I wouldn't be so sure of it myself. Also who else do they got. Stallworth has be underachieving and they lost the best center in the game. (Bentley?)
  13. Dont ever do this again
  14. Oh and don't forget Paps. Hopefully he'll be in the rotation next year. A Beckett, Paps, Lester rotation could be a great one for about 6-10 years, if we keep um.
  15. Well when you are the most complete team in the league, you have high hopes for the season. Also the NFC South isn't what people think it is. Falcons aren't that good. The Bucs are average and NO sucks. I don't care if they have Reggie Bush or not, he doesn't have the line he did at USC.
  16. Give him a 3 year deal for 15-18 mil. He deserves it. Let him go out on top.
  17. IMO Abreu wouldn't be worth what we are giving up for him. It doesn't seem like the "New" Red Sox to sell the farm for a player. Wily Mo will be here for some odd years and in the end be a better choice then Abreu. I don't think we want 3 mashers on the wrong side of 30.
  18. If Paps finishes the year with a sub 1.5 era and 50 or more saves then the ROY/Cy Young should be his.
  19. I understand your reasoning but it is flawed. The reason why Seattle was able to sit back on the pass is because we had no running game. The last against the Bears is when Foster broke his ankle and Steven Davis was already out. Nick F'N Goings started that game. Without that our offense suffered and couldn't give the defense a break, till the point of when trying was just too hard. This year is different new running and passing game, improved defense will land us our first championship.
  20. I wouldn't let Loretta walk as easy as some as you were. Yes Pedroia is a good spect but that doesn't always translate to a good MLB player.
  21. BRACKET ONE Babe Ruth (New York Yankees) vs Mickey Mantle (New York Yankees) BRACKET TWO Ty Cobb (Detroit Tigers) vs Willie Mays (San Francisco Giants) BRACKET THREE Ted Williams (Boston Red Sox) vs Stan Musial (St. Louis Cardinals) BRACKET FOUR Pete Rose (Cincinnati Reds) vs Manny Ramirez (Boston Red Sox)
  22. I'm not saying make a huge difference, but who would you try harder for? The Red Sox or Royals. Maybe being on a winning team will have this guy saying, "Well I can give up a few runs and still win. I don't have to be perfect." Or as people would say, he won't get in the of himself.
  23. Paps should be a starting pitcher. I think he can take 90 innings (?)
