  1. Not the city of New York, just Yankee Stadium... I think.
  2. But he is 25 and needs MLB experience. Next year he will be a leading force in our rotation. Starting in AAA will not get him the experience of MLB situtations he needs.
  3. Wow my bet is that they over paid for a linebacker who has underachieved in their whole career.
  4. True but the money he gets paid he needs to step up... just take a look at Schill.
  5. Never will it match the feeling of March Madness... I like baseball alot but basketball will always be my first love.
  6. In my mind both are as equally good... Arroyo was ok all year round. Clement while was on fire the first half and horrible the second. Both equal to average.... Clement just gets paid more.... and as much as a big market team we are I wouldn't like to see us overspeading on average pitchers. Arroyo was one of the faces for the Red Sox with everyting he had done for us. Atleast the Reds get someone to help their sorry-ass pitching.... I was hoping it was Clement instead
  7. Natural Light sucks alot too...
  8. Hold it I thought we were here to talk about the Red Sox, not try to be a ass and grade my "Reading Comprehension", dude seriously does that make you feel better about your life? Aparently you like to piss off people, honestly what do you want. Finally about Paps, the part I bolded proved my point. We need him in the bullpen/ spot starter to win the AL East. Believe or not... we really do.
  9. This deal sucks... Arroyo deserved a lot better. Even if we got Willy Mo he could still not pan out in the limelight of Fenway. I don't care if people like this or not but I don't wan this guy... maybe if we traded Clement it would be different. I just thought Arroyo would be with us for a long time
  10. He can build stamina in the offseason. He needs to be in the pen incase there is a melt down. Paps can come in and effectively put hitters down for many innings, something no one else can do in our bullpen. Being in AAA is not going to help him anymore. He already beat the crap outta them last year. Why put him there when what he needs is a challenge, i.e. MLB batters. Even if he is in the bullpen it will help him more the starting in AAA and also I rather save his arm while relieving, with the possibility that someone gets hurt. Then he can step up with a fresh arm and show everyone that he is for real. Also I really don't care what you think because you have proven to me that you are one of the most irrational thinkers on this Earth. Send someone to AAA because hes not starting for us... that makes me laugh.
  11. I think I said before that we needed to get Craig Wilson... so lets just get his ass over here.
  12. Why I take Burnett anyday. He's unproven and doesn't know pressure. Let's see him against us at home with Ortiz facing him. He'll crumble fast.
  13. I still can't believe all of this is happening to Bonds... but I guess you get what you deserve.
  14. I can explain it.... he sucks
  15. Dude you do not understand the meening that the 2004 Red Sox team has on me. You can shoot all the facts at me you want but without Pokey we would not have won the WS... if we didn't have one of tose people on that team we wouldn't have won. You can have the best talent you want, but you need defensive players too. (See 2005 Chicago White Sox) and for the comeback... he didn't suck as much as my comeback... your mom does...
  16. He can add whatever he want he wants... he still has to keep them in the ballpark. I still think at mid-season hes only going to be alright around 15-18 saves. If he has ay less than this trade him and let us atleast go down with Hansen so he can get some MLB experience.
  17. It might be alittle pricey but it could turn ou to be one of those one of those high risk, very high reward things.
  18. Oh and btw I'm a huge Arroyo fan so I MIGHT be a little biased.
  19. Key word Spring Training... do you really think guys are reallt trying hard to win those games... no. They are just getting in shape for the upcoming season. Nothing in Spring Training really tells anyone how someone is gonna do in the regular season because by the 3rd or 4th inning AAA players are in.
  20. Arroyo isn;t that inconsistent.... he just hasn't mastered they art of pacing himself early. This is a guy we must keep he has balls the size of grapefruits the way he steps up in big games.
  21. He should be gone from baseball forver and so should Giambi
  22. Ok Monster I got a few facts for you for your anti-dick sucking on Josh Beckett. First you talked of the weather, colder means less humidity means less blisters. Hes faced the media before the game which he became the WS MVP. ALso if you want to talk about injuries face this... hes improved over the years and hes going into the prime of his career. He has showned a great improvement and has limited his time on the DL. He will again improve this year and possibly lead us to another WS Title.
  23. I don't like either Bard or Huckaby as a catcher. People just think that its just Wakefield's catcher, but also what if V-teck needs a break. I don't like the two to even play 20% of the games and with the added other games they would start, that means they would start in around 40 games... thats why need to find a back up catcher fast.
