If the Sox could use him to get a player to help him this year I don't think he becomes a fixture in the sox outfield anytime soon. Not enough power for a corner outfielder and he really doesn't have the range to play center either.

Because I don't see how you can rely on bums like seanez and tavarez and timlin is 40 yrs old. He can't last forever. You need realiable arms down there who can get outs.

Hansen is needed on this team this year because trading him would weaken the bullpen considerably because it would make us use bums like tavarez and seanez in key spots.
