    why blame tavarez when he has been great lately. if you want to blame anyone blame the red sox offense that couldn't score any runs when given what 10 or 11 walks.

    Brady would have still beaten the hapless steelers even if he didn't get hurt in that game. The steelers were cocky and overrated and were punched in the face by a better team.

    I believe 7 of the 10 hits were for extra bases. He will not get another start for the Red Sox. He would be lucky to get another chance anywhere in the major leagues again.

    The Braves would never go for that but hey we can dream can we. They would want either Hansen or Lester to begin with and I am pretty sure the sox would say no because of Smoltz age and the fact of the contributions they are getting from them. They need Hansen now especially with Timlin being 40 and having 2 very poor performances over the past week and a half.

    I would drive all 3 of them to logan airport myself (avoiding the ted williams tunnel) to get smoltz. That deal is a no brainer.
