  1. Along with signing Givens the Titans have also signed center Kevin Mawae who visited the Patriots recently. The Pats better wake up soon or they won't find anymore good players in free agency.
  2. Vikings trade Daunte Culpepper to the Dolphins for a second round pick according to Len Pasquarelli at Espn.com.
  3. The pats have fallen asleep at the wheel this free agent season. They have underestimated the market completely.
  4. http://espn.go.com/media/pg2/2006/0313/photo/as_morrison_350.jpg Adam Morrison a Sox fan?
  5. Especially when Marte has a .421 average and an OPS of .1244 for the Guardians. Mike Lowell is hitting .158 with an OPS of .554
  6. He was great in the field last year. It the hitting part that is the concern and he really has not shown much of it lately.
  7. Mike Lowell's spring is concerning so far. He has done nothing to show last season was an abberation.
  8. I think you are the only one who doesn't like this tournament. Its clearly one of if not the best sporting event of the year.
  9. unit doesn't have the balls to throw inside anymore. how many times last year did he look like the old unit.
  10. Temple Coach John Chaney is retiring http://www.boston.com/sports/colleges/mens_basketball/articles/2006/03/13/temple_coach_john_chaney_to_retire/
  11. 4 Number 1 seeds in the Final Four will not happen. It never has and I doubt it will happen this year. There are always one or two number one seeds falling short of the Final Four.
  12. Thats the greatest beer pong table I have seen. I have also seen a hockey version like that of a Hartford Whalers one.
  13. Japan has many players on their roster that easily could be in the majors. They are not a pushover at all. The U.S. was lucky to win the game over a team that is just as good as them.
  14. What a great atmosphere down there tonight. If this score holds up this would be a pretty big upset.
  15. UCLA is not really a surprise considering they have been pretty good all year won the PAC-10 regular season and conference titles. Tennessee was a shocking #2 seed. 21-7 record and they were bounced in the SEC tourney early. BC is 26-7 and made it to the ACC title game. I had Tennessee a 4 or a 5.
  16. At most Syracuse should have gotten a 6th seed. 5 is too high....Even though GW played a soft schedule seeding them 8th was too low. Tennessee a 2 seed was a joke too when teams like Carolina and BC and Gonzaga were more deserving.
  17. whatever.....at least I still care about them even though they have sucked this year. But i'm disappointed that they should have broken the team down and traded guys for younger players and draft picls.
  18. Carl Pavano was the 17th Best Prospect in Baseball according to BA in 1997 while Tony Armas Jr. didn't crack the top 100. The Red Sox got lucky to get Pedro because he the expos wanted to trade him to the Guardians for a package of Jaret Wright but the Guardians refused after wright was good in the playoffs.
  19. im still going to go but i dont want to go to every game for the rest of the year. ill prolly just give them to some of my buddies for less than face value.
  20. now i need to figure out how to get rid of the rest of my tickets for the year
  21. Of course he is not a finished product. I never said he was. But I also wouldn't say he is a good 2-3 years away. More like he could be up late this year much like Papelbon was brought up and then he will likely be brought up in 2007 for good. He is a better pitcher than you think. You might not think highly of him but alot of people including myself do. And no Freddy Sanchez was not highly thought of around the minors. He was only the Red Sox best prospect because the farm system was ridiculously weak. If Sanchez was in our farm system right now he wouldn't even crack the top 10.
  22. One freaking out was bad. Big Freaking deal. Even the best pitchers in the world have gotten hit around before. Lester is 21, Lefthanded, and has 3 solid pitches. and yes i have seen him pitch before and I am very impressed by him. I also do not jump on a guy for one bad start in a spring training game either. Their is a reason why the red sox have refused to trade him and thats because he can be a very good pitcher. They refused to part with him in the Beckett deal for good reason. And I will doubt they will trade him unless they get a young ace in return which is very unlikely to happen. Good young pitching is very hard to find and when you can develop good ones you hold on to them.
  23. Bruins=officially done
  24. congrats to syracuse for pulling off an amazing run to win back to back big east titles.
  25. You really know nothing about the Red Sox prospects. Every baseball publication has Lester the second the best Lefthander in the minors. So what if he got hit around alittle in a spring training game. Every pitcher gets hit around in spring training. He is not overhyped at all. Every team in baseball would love to have a Jon Lester in their system.
