  1. LOL@ a stat that acknowledges a 17% margin of error. I agree with Notin that I don't know how they could come up with such a figure, but if that is what they state as the margin of error, it is a worthless stat.
  2. Bradley almost got that ball. It would have been an incredible catch.
  3. Attribution would be nice when you steal my trademarked material.
  4. I feel for the Rays fans. They have a crappy stadium, a crappy organization, and they have to look at the Red Sox wearing theses hideous softball unis. The fans bought tickets to see a good Red Sox team wearing a traditional MLB uni. Instead, they get this circus.
  5. Fat guy steals 3rd. Oh boy.
  6. Robertson did not pitch tonight despite plenty of rest raising suspicion about his condition.
  7. Need a bullpen arm.
  8. Melky Sucks but always is a thorn in our side.
  9. Leonis Martin and his uni #. He got a bacterial infection that almost killed him.
  10. Disallowing that sale was so ridiculous.
  11. Bold move by Theo.
  12. I am hoping that you are right.
  13. Interesting. What is the science by the bat companies that make bats with a hollowed out end ur is there none? I also think you are making an assumption about how the bats are caulked. I am not certain but I thought that they only caulk the bats at the end and not all the way to the sweet spot. Wouldn’t where the caulking was placed make a difference?
  14. Going the legal route of a lighter bat without the caulk would reduce the surface area for hitting the ball. Hollowing out the bat and filling it with lighter material makes the bat lighter without altering it's surface area. Lighter bats equal faster bat speed resulting in additional distance, not to mention the trampoline effect of the cork in the barrel.
  15. He can't win giving up 3 porcellos.
  16. Our bats have been in a lull for about a week.
  17. The Laws of physics are immutable. It is science. There are no anomalies. Statistics when applied to human performance is not the same type of science. Compared to physics, statistics in baseball might as well be voodoo.
  18. Then why are corked bats are illegal?
  19. On August 19, 1978, the Red Sox were up 7 games in the loss column and anf they played to a tie at the end of game 162. The Sox are up 10 in the loss column, so the Yankees are dead.
  20. We need him strong, healthy and in top form for the playoffs.
  21. I think you meant to say that Pablo was a Plus Size Defender.
  22. And of course this is supported by advanced metrics.
  23. The Yankees lose again to the Rays and fall 10 back on the loss column.
  24. I held my breath when Porcello Head first dove into the base. Has he heard of Steve. Wright?
  25. Try to keep the stench of the Philly fans off of you.
