  1. Robert's patience and professionalism has paid off for him. He's not a very good every day starting OF, but his professionalism and positive attitude help his marketability to teams. Teams know that they are not getting a problem with Dave Roberts. Payton, on the other hand, is an *******. If he'd had some patience in 2005, he have gotten around 400+ ABs, because of the injuries to Nixon, and after Damon left, he'd have gotten the starting CF job by default. He might still be our CF today if he had the right attitude.
  2. There's absolutely no reason not to give Ellsbury a shot. If he completely bombs out, we are in the same position that we were before with Crisp and WMP. I'd bring him up immediately.
  3. Help yourself. I love reading it no matter who writes it.
  4. Pedroia with 5 for 5. He's locked in.
  5. Crisp and Lugo setting the table.
  6. Green has the range of a slug in the OF.
  7. Melky is flailing like a blind man with the bat tonight.
  8. Top two hitters are 7 for 7 and everyone else is hitless. Not only are they 7 for 7 but they have been on base 8 times.
  9. With the hand kicking up dirt as it gets close to the bag it's hard to see exactly when he touches it and the tag was high on the elbow. He'll always get called safe when it's that close and the tag is on the elbow.
  10. Very close. It's very hard to tell if his hand was on the base before the taqg was applied, even in super slo mo.
  11. Tavarez has been very consistent in his last several starts, and he's still getting outs in the 7th even though he's limping around.
  12. Time for Beltran to go deep.
  13. Posada throws out Gomez, but he couldn't get Reyes. Too much speed.
  14. Quality start by Rocket, and he is replaced by Vizcaino.
  15. I love the speed that Lugo and Crisp bring, but they have to hit more than .220.
  16. I guess the percs have kicked in.
  17. I guess they are in a decline.
  18. Don't mention it. I'd rather you post in this condition than drive. A win will ease the pain.
  19. He's got a future in bowling.
  20. 57 each or total for the two of them?
  21. Reyes takes the Rocket deep and he hasn't had an Xtra base hit in 10 games. Off the upper deck.
