    Lowell doesn't sound optimistic about his condition. What will the lineup look like without Lowell for an extended period? I am guessing that Bay bats 5th, Lowrie 6th, with 7,8 and 9 being Casey, Varitek and and Ellsbury/Crisp. It's not exactly an awe-inspiring lineup.
