  1. Ellsbury is killing us in the leadoff spot, but they have no other options right now.
  2. Cabrera is doing his melt down. He's walking everyone in pinstripes.
  3. Dice K will have us biting our nails all day long.
  4. Bay got robbed twice yesterday on long drives to Wells. he is hitting the ball hard as he gets another hit.
  5. 4 runs! After looking at Burnett in the first two innings, I never expected a 4 spot.
  6. The Red sox have never beat Burnett, and he has been hot recently. This is going to be a very tough game.
  7. J.D. Drew's back is being reported on NESN as not getting any better. With the weakened batting order and no Beckett, I'd be happy to take one game in NY. I'd be thrilled with 2 wins.
  8. Callling Mora out for leaving the field on the 3rd strike in the dirt was completely ridiculous.
  9. Pavano could be the savior of the Yankee rotation.
  10. Total BS call by the umps on the strike out by Melvin Mora to end the second inning. With Markakis running, Mora swung at a pitch in the dirt. The Yankees run off the field without making the putout. Mora spun around after the swing flipped his bat away and took about 2 to 3 steps onto the grass towards the dugout before he was alerted to run to first. He continued to second and and Markakis to third as the Yankees left the field. Girardi argued. The umps called Mora for leaving the field. Unbelievable! I have seen guys almost get back to the dugout and run to first and not get called out. Typical BS call that the Yankees get.
  11. The bottom 4 in our lineup would not scare a AAA pitcher. What is the progress on Lowell's recovery?
  12. Even after the hot streak, his production is way down. His runs, RBI are down. His power continues to diminish as it has for the last couple of years. His stolen bases are down. He is second in the league in GIDPs. He's on his way to Roberto Alomar-ville
  13. Per Heidi Watney, Beckett said he felt much better today. Wakefield feels great. So do the Yankee hitters after hearing that they will be facing Wake and not Beckett.
  14. On Pre-game show it has been announced that Wakefield will pitch on Tuesday. Pencil in a loss for that game.
  15. Beckett has inflammation in his pitching elbow and he has been scratched from his Tuesday start against the Yankees. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/
  16. We had a circus?
