Pettitte is being beaten like a pinata by the Blue Jays. In the 2nd inning the Jays are up 4-0. I hope the Yankee fans are enjoying the last summer weekend at the beach. BTW Nady is a terrible outfielder -

I was at that game. Melky robbed Manny of a Home Run.

Since his low point on June 24th when his record was 4-7 with a 6.52 ERA, he has gone 8-3 with 8 Quality Starts in his last 11 Starts. He has also lowered his ERA for the season by about a 1 1/2 runs. His season record stands at 12-10 with a 5.07 ERA for a really crappy team in a little band box. He's also on pace to surpass 200 innings for the 4th season in a row. He's won 10 or more games in 4 of the last 5 seasons. He's remained a pretty solid back of the rotation guy.

I told you guys at the beginning of the summer to spend a lot of time at the beach, because baseball wasn't going to be fun for Yankee fans. You should have taken my advice. -
It's very difficult for me to bet against the Red Sox, but with this lineup and this kid on the mound against Buehrle, this is a lock win for Chicago.

BJ trying as hard as he can to blow the game goes 3-2 on ARod with 1st and 2nd and no one out gets ARod to hit into a 5-3 DP. ARod blows so bad. Cotex ransom flies out for the last out.
