    Do you remember how Yaz would seem to screw himself into the ground on his swings and misses? They are comparable in stature, especially since Devers trimmed down from last season. Yaz was a little chubby his first season too.

    The way Devers swings so hard on every swing and makes hard line drive contact to every field reminds me of Yaz.

    ERod works into the 7th inning again -- having the best year of his career. We need to score some more or say our prayers for the bullpen.

    Encarnacion with 2 HRs last night and another tonight for 28 this season. That is the move that DD should have made. He has had a couple of shots at that bat.

    I'm not losing sleep over guys that would not have made it to Fenway until 2025 at the earliest. If you want to play that kind of long game, that is your choice.

    I predicted a while back that by the end of 2020 beginning of 2021 Brasier will be out of the majors or mopping up for a sub-.500 team. He is a marginal major leaguer. As of tonight, we have only 2 major league arms in our bullpen.

    Using 3 or 4 relievers in a game is a quest in search of failure.
