  1. I read in an interview that SS was his favorite position. Can he play it? That would be quite a risk.
  2. If they signed him for 2-3 years, he'd be playing 3B after the first year. Do you want Scutaro? I don't
  3. I'd be okay with Tejada for 1 year.
  4. It's time for Tyler to go. Let him find another Red Sox forum for handful of posts and a banning. He really showed us. Didn't he.
  5. The Yankees won the Championship. They will not have the desperation they have had in past offseasons. I don't expect them to do much. Maybe they swap out Damon for Bay or Holliday, but I honestly don't think that would improve their team.
  6. 29 posts and you are making personal insults and breaking rules on this forum. It's time for you to take your rings and leave. I think we should have zero tolerance for Yankee Bandwagonners like you.
  7. I wonder if he was trying to run down his wife.
  8. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/articles/2009/11/26/report_longtime_yankees_voice_sheppard_retiring/ Let me go on record as saying: Who gives a s***.
  9. Since I hate Buchholz, let's make him the topic of the bet. Here's my prediction for his 2010 if he stays with the Sox: 14 wins, 10 losses, 4.15 ERA, 165 K's, 181 Innings One beer for each category.
  10. You clearly can't read. I showed that his percentage of starts that were QS was not that great. Something like 60% or so and I pointed out that a bag of sit like Penny had a percentage in the 50's. That was meant to illustrate that Buchholz's performance was somewhere between star like Halladay with a QS percentage probably around 80% and a bag of s*** like Penny at 50%. It was not a comparison to penny, but that's too deep for you.
  11. Yes, yes yes. I hate Buchholz. His face makes me sick. I despise him. i don't care if he goes 20-0 and breaks Gibson's 1968 ERA of 1.12. Yes, that's a weight off me.
  12. From your post #1949 in this thread where you quoted my post from November 18th. What does "encouraging" mean to you? That's how I felt on November 18th, and I stand by it today.
  13. Oh, but I have. Hit the SAP button on your computer and read it all again.
  14. What's psycho is that you challenged me to take a stance on Buchholz, which I did very clearly for everyone to see, but you are still arguing about flip-flopping. That's psycho or stupid or something. Get a grip.
  15. More psycho nonsense from you Dipre. This type of stuff wrecks your credibility, so keep researching my supposed hatred of Buchholz, you psycho. BTW I still have the special edition paper handed out at Fenway when I saw his debut in 2007. I can't believe that I had so much fun and saved it considering that I hate him so much. http://www.talksox.com/forum/general-baseball-forum/13409-2009-world-series-phillies-yankees-130.html#post499088
  16. You are desperate picking out a reactionary post from a Game thread during the World Series when Cliff Lee was dominating the Yankees. Good Stuff, Dipre! Go back to July again to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that i hate Buchholz. You are showing your psycho side. Why would I hate any player, never mind a Red Sox? What is it that you are trying to prove? What point is it that you are trying to make? Really, you are acting like a psycho. You need to stop. You asked me to tell you clearly my opinion about Buchholz and I clearly stated it numerous times over the last couple of days. I did what you asked, and yet you are still arguing. You are acting like a psycho. You need to stop.
  17. If you can't get the sequence right, your argument is bound to be wrong. I directed you to where the argument started. I can't do more than that. Here it is again if you want to read it through in sequence again: http://www.talksox.com/forum/talk-sox-forum/13177-wakefield-2010-season-20.html#post500940
  18. Read some biagraphies on Gehrig. There you will find documented Gehrig's and his mother's opinions about Ruth's neglect of his daughter. He was a great player-- a titan, who helped save the game, but he was low-life scum in his personal life.
  19. Here's where the shitstorm started. I used the term "mixed results" and you immediately went ape. Follow from the beginning and you will see the sequence of events. You are 100% wrong in this case. Sorry dude. http://www.talksox.com/forum/talk-sox-forum/13177-wakefield-2010-season-20.html#post500940
  20. Here's the way it went. If you've got the wrong sequence, the conclusion you reach is bound to be wrong, which you are in this instance. First off, I stated that he had mixed results in 2009. You and others jumped all over it like "mixed" meant suck. I went into detail about his bad outings to show that his 2009 had some blemishes to counter the "he's a star" euphoria which is totally out of line with his performance. He may become a star, but he is not yet.
