He has to pick his spots that he goes to his horses. He can't do it in every close game where we are tied or behind. If we had lost one or both of the prior two game Rubby doesn't pitch last night. He has to keep these guys fresh.
BTW: How are people feeling about Rubby after a year in our organization. He has been very inconsistent, and his bad stretches have been horrendous. I thought he might have a future with us as a late inning reliever, but despite his velocity I don't think he has the "put away" pitch. I think Webster has the late inning dominating put away stuff if he can improve his command. Neither one will break camp with the Red Sox as a starter in 2014.
