  1. Joe goes to Gordon. Wang's line 7IP 6H 3R 3ER 1BB 3K. He was good again. Just one major mistake to Hinske and that was it really. Another game in which he allowed only 1 flyball out.
  2. Huge 2 run dinger by Cano. Get Gordon up Joe.
  3. 3-2 breaking ball gets Hillenbrand
  4. I dont know how you guys feel but I have felt the plate has gotten ALOT wider this year then in years past. From what I heard quest-tec is being used in less and less in ballparks.
  5. same here, I have the Sox game on gameday which is at my desk then I have to run to the living room to watch the Yankees/Jet game.
  6. Ump calls A-Rod out on a ball a foot outside. Yankees respond though. Keep it at 1 Wang and we have a shot.
  7. That was the worst baserunning i've seen in awhile. I can live with the physical mistakes but its the mental ones that kill me. The mistakes in the field (for the most part) have been physical but that was horrible.
  8. dominating, I wouldnt call it "blowing up". Blowing up is when you dont finish an inning or like Bruce Chen did the other day. In the whole inning he really only made one major mistake which was the pitch to Hinske which was a 2 seam fastball that ran back across the middle of the plate. The rest I would credit the Jays for.
  9. 3-1 Jays now. Everything has been up in this inning for Wang. Must keep that ball down. Its pretty disgusting that we have 1 hit off Towers I must say.
  10. Is Wells on a PC today? I know he had a knee problem that was taken care of.
  11. Well this one was over before it started. There is no one in the majors better then David Wells when it comes to pitching with a big lead.
  12. Wang has that sinker working again. 9 outs recorded.....7 GB's 2 K's.
  13. Could be the very last for Bernie. 1-0 Yankees
  14. I wonder if the Yankees even saw what Batista was throwing. Yankees wraped this game up and handed it to the Blue Jays in the first two inning. Gotta win tomorrow.
  15. Brutal baseball today. Sloppy all around. If I had the money I would pay Wright out of my pocket if he didnt give up a first inning run(s). Wright might have pitched Small back into the roation with that proformence or lack there of.
  16. Tejada made a brutal error against us that lead to a 5 run inning also. Really the whole team cant wait for the season to end. When a team is counting down the days untill the season is over and then you play 2 teams that are dying to make the playoffs the lack of effort really shows.
  17. yeah I posted that in the farm forum.
  18. Intresting, you guys should sweep the O's. From what I saw at YS they barely try. A telling sign was when Luis Matos hit one to Jeter and he jogged down to 1st. The throw was off line and he would have been safe if he ran hard out of the box. I heard Jay Gibbons admit that they are counting down the "hours" untill the season is over.
  19. Whats the pitching match up tomorrow?
  20. lol yeah hes a joke. I'm suprised the White Sox keep trash around like that.
  21. ha, thats a great website. Who says things like "Duck snort" or "Get foul" when another team thats playing the White Sox hits one down the line? A classic is when something goes wrong for the White Sox all you hear is dead air. Was this guy even a White Sox when he played? I dont understand where this homerism comes from.
  22. There is no announcer I hate more then "Hawk". Between "He Gone" and "You can put it on the board yeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss" I jusy want to rip his head off. He brings the term "homer" to another level
  23. Yankees win 5-0. Chacon was great again. 16 stright shutout innings against the Blue Jays for Chacon.
  24. Turns out hes 30 years old: Boston Red Sox: Three weeks ago, the Red Sox signed first baseman Michel Abreu to a $425,000 contract. Friday, the club began the process of voiding the deal. The principle reason is that the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Abreu, a Cuban refugee, could not establish residency and therefore would not be eligible to play in 2006. Another reason is that Abreu represented himself as being 26 years old. However, the roster from the 1999 Orioles-Cuba national team game lists Abreu's birth date as Feb. 8, 1975. The Red Sox found that to be the legitimate date, and Abreu mispresenting his age made the contract voidable. -- Peter Gammons, Special to ESPN.com http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2170109
