  1. idk, you tell me. I remember it was 2 people that liked him
  2. God Mussina cant put Thomas away.
  3. Ken Rosenthal sounds like a sniveling nerd.
  4. Mussina needs a quick inning here. He starts it off by facing his daddy Frank Thomas.
  5. It must be 26to6 then that likes him. I'm really sorry
  6. I think thats pretty inaccurate IMO. I only know Optimist and another yankee fan on this board that likes him. All of my Yankee fan friends hate his guts, if you go on the Yesnetwork board (yes that piece of trash) hes hated there also.
  7. I believe all of Mussina's K's (Including the last on on Chavez) have all been on that 2 seamer. Swisher didnt help himself swing at those 2 change ups in the dirt.
  8. No doubt in my mind. He was such a dominating hitter.
  9. Atleast the Yankees made Saarloos work. Buck and McCarver are already annoying me.
  10. Time to go to work on Saarloos
  11. Frank Thomas owns Mike Mussina. Jesus Christ he killed that ball.
  12. Oh god we have the great pleasure of listening to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver.
  13. Zito actually pitched a great game last time out against the Yanks. I think he lost like 2-1 against Wang. EDIT: It was a 2-0 Yankees win over Zito and the A's.
  14. lmao speaking of the devil
  15. There are a bunch of players that have not hit a bunch of HR's in the minors and have come up and hit them. One that comes to mind is Don Mattingly. The guy cracked double digits in HR's once in the minors(10 HR's). Thats the same guy who hit 30 HR's prior to his back injury. Bernie Williams is another player who didnt hit for powers in the minors but hit around 25 when he hit his prime.
  16. If you watched the games Cano went through a defensive slump around the time they faced the Mets. Hes been much better since. He gets to balls (4th in RF in AL). Last year he hit 14 HR's I expect him to hit more then 2. Hes a good contact hitter and believe it or not in a lineup with Damon, Jeter, A-Rod, Giambi, Sheff and Matsui (when healthy) I can live without a Chase Utley at 2B.
  17. Its Tim McClelland, hes been doing that for years.
  18. I never said he wasnt not dead on I just wanted to show that I'm not the only one that thinks Callis is biased. The only prospect I disagree with him on(in this article) is Cano. While this might be nitpicking I dont think Cano will hit enough for power to be moved to a corner OF pos. I think he is good enough at 2B.
  19. For now yeah but I expect them to trade for an OF sooner or later.
  20. Some bad news...Sheff will undergo surgery and will be out untill September. Matsui might actually be back before him.
  21. I remember when I got into an argument on Jim Callis and his hate for the Yankees with a couple of you guys. Here is an intresting article: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/story/424767p-358338c.html
  22. Its only a matter of time untill those names get out.
  23. Yankees might have reached for Kennedy(Still a solid college pitcher) but they made up for it with Chamberlain if he is healthy.
