  1. It looks like Franwsorth is ready to go:
  2. Anyone know what the magic number is?
  3. I must say, if the Red Sox fans have already broken out the 2004 material it must be over in their minds.
  4. Thanks for picking me up guys. I forgot about that.
  5. I'm suprised Lester made it that long with an ERA (I think) below 4 prior to his start against the Yankees. He had a WHIP around 1.5.
  6. Start that deal with Ellsbury and Lester and then the Blue Jays might think about trading him within the division.
  7. Jon Lester throwing right handed is better then Sidney Ponson.
  8. Javy Lopez is hitting 231 off of RJ.
  9. Looks like hes adjusting to life after baseball well.
  10. I know his back up Sproles (I think thats his name) broke his leg. I havent heard that about Tomlinson.
  11. I was at Yankee stadium yesterday and you could see the site from the elevators on the left field upper deck side. Its really nothing too see yet. It looked like they were clearing the land.
  12. I dont know about over-hyping him. The only reason why Clippard doesnt get the hype Hughes does is simply because he doesnt throw 95 MPH like Hughes. Hughes throws 95 and has great control over all of his pitches. Clippard throws 90 and has great control over all of his pitches. Clippard wont be a #1 however I think a #2-3 starter is possible and hes only increasing his trade value if the Yankees ever wanted to move him. The Yankee farm system is certainly on the rebound.
  13. Tyler Clippard pitched a no-no for the Trenton Thunder. Everyone talks about Hughes (for good reason) however Clippard is a pretty good prospect in his own right.: http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/milb/stats/stats.jsp?sid=milb&t=g_box&gid=2006_08_17_treaax_haraax_1
  14. Its pretty simple why the Blue Jays traded him: Eric Hinske inf 5 years/$14.75M (2003-07) signed extension 3/03 $0.5M signing bonus 03:$0.5M, 04:$0.8M, 05:$3M, 06:$4.325M, 07:$5.626M ML service: 4.000 Pure salery dump. It makes you wonder about Trot Nixon. He must be pretty far away from returning.
  15. I'll bet he will be in the lineup against Wang on Friday. I dont know the numbers but I know he wears him out.
  16. Loewen shutting us down again. I dont get it.
  17. I never thought I would hear that again.
  18. There are alot of rumors that Dotel has been activated. I'm looking for an online source to confirm this.
  19. I think its Cabrera also. Pujols just signed a 7 year extension last year.
  20. A-Rod cant hit a good fastball on the inner half of the plate. If you have a fastball around 95 you can easily tie him up.
  21. JOHNNY D!!!! WORTH EVERY FRIGGIN PENNY RIGHT NOW!
  22. WOW For a guy that turned around a francise that was pretty stupid pitching to Ortiz with a base open.
  23. YAY!!! MORA ROBBED POSADA OF A POSSIBLE 3-RUN DOUBLE!!! YAY!!!
