    I hate to break it to you buddy but I believe your the one who mentioned A-Rod and what charities he donates his money to. I was just anwsering your question. One more point... obviously Sox fans do care because they would'nt have made this thread wondering what Yankee fans thought of this. Take your own advice because your post made about no sense when you read the whole thread.

    agreed, even though I kinda like playing the role as the bad guy. But at the end of the day as I said in another post....none of you know me so I dont worry about what you guys think of me. Thats why when I say I HATE Curt Schilling I mean I hate Curt Schilling the ballplayer. Because I dont know him on a personal level.

    Because at the end of the day none of you know if Curt Schilling or Alex Rodriguez are good guys. You might think you know but you dont. You dont follow him on an everyday basis. I get a kick out of watching you guys judge people you dont know. BTW I was responding to a question about what charities A-Rod has donated his money to.

    watching you guys argue over whos a better person (Schilling or A-Rod) makes me laugh. BTW, A-Rod has helped build a boys and girls club in Miami and he has also been involved in Jorge Posada's foundation as well as Derek Jeter's turn 2 foundation.

    From an opposing teams perspective, if you take Manny out of that line up there would be no reason to pitch to Ortiz. None at all esp if your the Yankees who are still trying to figure out how to get him out.

    the record doesnt show it but the Yankees have played well against good teams on the road. They sweept and took 2 of 3 AT Oakland, they took 3 of 4 AT Fenway and they took 2 of 3 at US Cellular Field.

    ah please we all know that Jeter has been great his whole career. The fact that hes having a "off-year" in that situation tells me nothing about him. Post Damon career stats with RISP/2 outs. 1 year out of 10 doesnt change a career.

    After this start it will be the last time he throws on the side. RJ has never thrown on the side consistantly. I think he said hes thrown on the side about 6 times in the past 10 years. He only does it when his mechanics are screwed up.

    It was the Royals and the Mariners not the Tigers but anyway....its not the result that has Yankee fans excited about RJ after his past 2 starts. Its the fact that his velocity is back. For most of the season hes been throwing 90-93 MPH. In his last 2 starts its been nothing but 95-97. According to Randy his throwing on the side has gotten him more consistant with his delivery. RJ big problem this season was that he had no drive toward the plate and he wasnt finishing off his delievery. Its been correct thus adding more velocity.

    I wasnt talking about if you guys would beat him or not. I just want a chance to see one of the better prospects in the league. I had a chnace to watch Felix Hernandez this past week and he was flat out amazing. Of course McCarthy isnt the same prospect but it should be fun to watch. But of course I'll be rooting against the Sox(The Red kind).
