    You don't rely on other teams to lose games. That lost to Tampa last week still stings for this team. Same could be said for the last 2 games as those were very winnable games. Those type of games need to be won if you want to make the playoffs

    Enough of this schedule thing. That means Jack s*** when you're hot. If you haven't noticed the Jay's swept back to back teams who are playoff contenders. Meanwhile we're lucky to win A game vs a contender. The Sox need to win PERIOD regardless who they play. The Jay's play the twins 6 more times and the O's 3 more time. So their schedule will be about the same as the Sox. Yankees also have their next 9 games against s*** teams. They need to win now or else they might find themselves 3 games back in the L column before they face the Os this weekend. If that happens they need to go about 11-3 for the remaining 14 games to even have a chance and even that might not be enough

    Yes and all those players will demand more than what we are giving Bogey. Bogey doesn't seem the type to go strictly for money and I'm sure they could restructure his deal to keep him here at a cheaper price from the name you just mentioned

    Don't worry folks. The schedule looks great after this series. No need to beat these above 500 teams.

    I'd would stay away from Marcus Semien. He's having a career year and will never duplicate this. Some teams will throw a bunch a money at him. They can have him. Scherzer won't sign here and will most likely sign with the Dodgers as they have endless money over there and not afraid to spend it. As another poster mentioned Bloom will not give out big contracts and will look for bargains like he did with Renfroe

    What's with people wanting to trade Bogey? He's a 5 WAR player every year and his contract is a bargain for his production. I honestly don't get this.

    Yes, the fact we have no sweeps aside from that ONE series is an issue as the Jay's keep winning and are 11-1 in their last 12 games

    Because they do. Eventhough one of them is not going to make it they still technically all have 50 percent chance of making it

    I see a lot of posters saying well the Jay's play the Ray's 6 times coming and we have the O's coming. That's not going to change a thing. Jay's will still win at least half of those games while we still can't beat a +500 team nor can we sweep sub 500 teams

    I hate to say it but this team is NOT a playoff team. They can't win a series vs a good team. The last time they have won a series vs a good team is way back on July 25th.
