  1. What a GREAT opportunity...and it couldn't have come on a more perfect day - today's my 28th birthday! So, of course, these tickets would make a fantastic belated birthday gift to me! Why else should I be the one to win the tickets? Let me count the ways... *I LOVE the Red Sox *I spend my life devoted to children (as a teacher), and teacher's can't always afford the high price of Fenway tickets that are out on the market (since tickets are so hard to come by!). School starts the week before this game, so it would be a great back to school gift as well! *The last game I went to (August 14) was rained out (and I sat through the heat, pouring rain, and two rain delays just in hopes that the game would be played - I am devoted)! * My son was born last year on Opening Day at Fenway...everyone in my family says he is the good luck charm and why the Sox won the World Series last year (I bought my little guy a Red Sox hat before he was born, he wears it everyday, hasn't been washed since he started wearing it...starting to look a little like Trot's hat!...eww, I know, but it's a good luck charm!) So, my fingers are crossed that I will be the lucky winner! Although, I am a good sport and I wish the rest of you the best of luck as well! **I would only be able to go to the September 4th game because the other tickets you have would be on a school day (the teacher can't play hookie!).
  2. Welcome fellow Mainer!
  3. I COMPLETELY agree with you on this one! It's a shame he's not put to better use than he could be.
  4. I disagree...did you ever think that the reason Kapler did so poorly in Japan was purely psychological? The guy was half way across the world in a foreign country...he's even admitted how homesick he was. Since he was activated on July 30th, the guy has a .381 batting average and has played very well. I remember him doing quite well last year too, have you forgotten that?! I have often said (and have heard other Sox players say it as well) that Kapler is one of the most underestimated players on the team. Not only does the guy play well, but he has a heart of gold. Trot said of his teammate "If there was ever a guy that epitomized team play, it's Gabe." I LOVE that he is back and hope that you come to that realization as well!
  5. Yeah..I guess you could say that...or on somedays you could admit me to an institution!
  6. I'm about 2 hours northeast of naples..in central maine! sounds like quite the camp!
  7. Hello fellow Red Sox fans...I stumbled across this site in my quest to find the location of my seats at Fenway. I am thrilled that I get to go to Fenway this summer (it will be my third time there!). As you can tell by my screen name, Mike Greenwell is who hooked me onto the Sox! No one in the vicinity of me can get away with not loving the Sox! My 16 month old is a walking billboard as is my 3rd grade classroom! Happy Day to you all!
  8. I'm done! This is available to the fine folks in Central Maine!
  9. THANKS so much! I've had the hardest time finding where these are (there isn't a detailed seating chart to be found anywhere!). And you definitely made my day by telling me Tek would be around, I'm a HUGE fan!
  10. I'm hoping someone can help me...my husband and I have tickets to a game at Fenway in Right Field Box 92 row DD...does anyone know which row this is? I'm not sure if we're going to be up front or in the back of this section. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me! GO SOX!!!!
