    I pretty much agree with this, while it would be fantastic to watch AROD play here, I think it would make more sense to sign Lowell, and as you said make the overall team stronger. Another huge factor also is what to do with Manny. I say we might as well keep him next seeing how it is the last year of his deal which usual means monster years. Couple that with the fact that he had a down year this year and he might go out there next year with something to prove, Manny could have a HUGE season next year. Also Ortiz should be more healthy thus being able to hit 40+ hrs and drive in 130 like in previous years. Wouldn't it be fun though to see a 3-4-5 Of Ortiz, Rodriguez, Ramirez and Drew. We would seriously win 110 games with a lineup like that.

    The only way Schilling comes back is by him taking a 1 year deal. I wouldn't be opposed to giving 13-14 million dollars next year, if it is only a one year commitment. He has shown that he still has something left in the tank, but anything more than one year for Curt at this point would be ludicrous.

    What a series by Ortiz. I think the power reamergance of Manny and Ortiz has made the Sox easily the best team this October.

    That was a really gutty performace by Schilling today. Six outs left, Oki, and Paps would be prefrable.

    I never thought I would ever feel the exciment I felt during the 04 postseason run, but I have to say this was as excited as I have been in a long long time for a Red Sox game. Papelbon's K of Figgens and Manny's mamoth blast were got me wrapped up in this thing again.

    The Red Sox bullpen was phenomenal tonight. To go what 5 2/3 without giving up a hit, is unbelievable. I love October baseball.
