    That pass interferance was the worst call I have ever seen. These have been the most one-sided refs I have seen in a long time. It's not a fair playing field today.

    Do you really think it would be wise to put Ortiz in the field everyday considering his age is getting up there and he is allready breaking down physically? This would just be a bad idea for that reason alone.

    Pay Schilling. 1 year at 13 million is not that bad. It will be worth it for this club next year as he showed that he still has something left in the tank this postseason. Could there be a better option for a 3rd starter for us next season?

    Went to bed at 3:00AM after some on campus partying, and still made it to my 9:00AM class. Quite impressive if I say so myself.

    Schilling will be back next season. Him only wanting one year now makes it almost a slam dunk IMO. I think this is a very good thing for the Red Sox. This gives us a very solid rotation of Beckett, DiceK, Schilling, Lester and Buchholz with Potentially Wake if he decides to come back. Schilling will be good to have around for Lester and Clay. Schill prepares better than anyone probably in baseball history and it can't hurt for those guys to learn from him. Also let's not overlook the fact that after he came off the disabled list he pitched really well including the postseason.

    agreed. This guy is perfect here. It's pretty exciting to think about actually for next season. Our lineup should only be better than it was this season. With a healthy Manny and Ortiz, Lowell, Drew who should be a lot better, Youk, Pedroia, and Ellsbury all sparking the lineup, Tek being solid, and hopefully a improved Lugo should make for a much more consistent lineup in 08. Which is scary to think about with a Rotation of Beckett, DiceK, Buchholz, Lester, and Wake/Schilling. We have a great chance to go back to back, which would be awesome.

    Woah!!!! What a season!! WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!! Winning a championship while living at a college is crazy. What a freaking great team this is, there really isnt a weakness anywhere. 2007 WORLD SERIES CHAMP!!!!! GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

    Nothing can be as exciting as 2004. It's just not possible. The first time is usually the best, I mean the Patriots second superbowl wasnt as exciting as the first. I still get excited during the games, but I will never have the same feeling I had after Aaron Boones homerun even if the same exact thing happened say next year. We have won a world series and it in some respects is been there done that almost. That being said I still love this team and watch almost 90% of the regular season games which does get you very attached to the players.

    I am so pumped right now! We are one frigging win away from a WS title! I can't wait for this to begin, and I really hope we win because I am in the mood for some serious celebration.

    Another great game for our offense last night. Pedroia and Ellsbury are going to be fun to watch over the next 5-10 years. Hopefully we can celebrate tonight with Lester on the mound. I have a feeling that he is going to pitch great tonight, I dont know why I feel this way but I just think it is going to happen.

    Maybe he will just retire after this season. I mean I know he has said that he wants to pitch a few more years but maybe he will just decide that this is the way he wants to end his career, on top.

    How about having him comeback in June or July like Clemens? That way he would be fresh all season.

    It's definately a thrill to have the Sox in the world series, but as See Red said earlier I am much more relaxed watching these games. That being said I am still obnoxious and routy while I am watching and still get really excited when a huge play happens. When Manny hit the walkoff homer against the Angels, that was the most excitment I had felt for the Red Sox since David Ortiz 04 bloop Single against the Yankees.
