  1. “That’s not a struggling Twins club”, only Baltimore has been in a worse tail spin. It also helped you guys that Hunter got hurt on your deformed center field wall and you didn’t face Santana. And if you want to talk about gift games how about the White Sox giving you the game by dropping Manny’s popup. You counted the Yankees out, and then you got nervous when they caught up. Now you win a few games against the D-rays and the struggling Twins and your heads are big again. Bottom line is Boston has as many question marks as the Yankees so I wouldn’t be sticking my chest out too far just yet.
  2. Listen my children and you shall hear Of the midnight ride of Manny Ram?re, On the twenty-ninth of July, in Two thousand five; Hardly a man is now alive Who remembers that famous day and year. That the Bosox fans really stuck it in his rear.
  3. My argument was that the past should be recognized but what is most important is who is winning now. I’m more concerned about losing 3 of 4 to the Angels; you should worry about your bullpen blowing a game to the Devil Rays. The Yankees are the most successful team in sports history but I don’t bring that up until I’m provoked. No fan takes more abuse then the Yankee fan. When we win it’s “the payroll”, when we lose it’s “how could you lose with that payroll”. You wonder why we always use the Yankee history. I went the Sunday game at Camden Yards to see Red Sox vs. Orioles this month. The ballpark was about half RS fans. I couldn’t possibly count how many anti Yankee Tee-shirts I saw. The Yankees were playing Cleveland, they weren’t in Baltimore. You guys should wear anti Harry Frazee Tee-shirts, you can thank him more then anyone for what Yankee fans have to brag about.
  4. That’s all that matters? So everything before 2004 is meaningless. Are you really that shallow? I guess then if the Yanks win it all this year what happened in 2004 should never bother them again. Come on, wake up.
  5. Do you mean you wouldn't trade the Sox history for the Yankees history?
  6. Hey, even Small came up Big tonight But if I was to bet on a Pitcher to turn it around it would be Leiter not Small.
  7. I can’t argue with you about that, I was shocked at how good he was Sunday but we’ll take what we can get if the other option is Fridays Pitchers.
  8. You must live in North Jersey; a lot of good things came from New Jersey. One recent contribution that comes to mind is Al Leiter.
  9. This is a site for RS fans and I will always try to respect that. I’m just here to kick some opinions around but expect some arguments to threads like “Rivera Sucks” or “Jeter can’t play defense”
  10. Hello I’m from NJ and I am looking forward to some intelligent conversations with RS fans.
