    It baffles me as to why the Mets agreed to this thing though. I guess they have zero confidence in their ability to draft cause I certainly don't think paying $2 million to Wagner for the rest of the year was a huge problem for them.

    Rotoworld... Between Jeff Bailey and Aaron Bates, the loss of Carter is irrelevant. If the report is right and the other prospect is "not of significance", we can safely say we got Wagner and two picks for nothing more than cash.
