  1. we could use an effective Clement and his last outing was encouraging so I wouldn't like to see him miss his start. I know that won't be a popular opinion here but I think he can turn it around
  2. ok, so next time we'll just politely ask the Yankee faithful to quiet down a little bit when Rudy comes up and whisper words of encouragement to Mr. Seanez so that he can hit the strike zone.
  3. suck my balls, Seanez. SUCK MY MOTHERf***ING BALLS. he couldnt even make them f***ing earn it
  4. its a 1-1 game, your job is to face 1 batter and not let him drive in a run and not only do you give up that run, you walk it in. f*** SEANEZ
  5. as far as we know, he isn't linked to Al Queda
  6. leave it to A-Rod to strike out on 3 pitches one batter too late f***. Pauley deserved so much better
  7. Seanez is a worthless sack of s***
  8. please don't make the kid face Giambi. Let him leave the mound knowing he had an exceptional night
  9. now lets see if this lead is Seanez-proof, at least Paps is available as a safety net
  10. Johnny Damon
  11. I can only see it on Gameday but im guessing he was arguing the strike zone since the Tigers have walked in 3 runs this inning
  12. well, Doubles has pronounced himself fit to play and is in the lineup tonight so as long as doesn't tweak the hammy, I think he's fine
  13. I know Dmitri is on the DL, haven't heard anything about Pudge though
  14. we lost because this team's weakness is middle relief
  15. cmon Mark, give Papi a chance
  16. let's at least get the details right here, Riske has pitched 1 inning of perfect relief since coming off the DL
  17. cause there we're no other options. you REALLY have confidence in Keith "watch me as I yell at fans in the front row" Foulke in a tie game?
  18. amazing, people calling for Foulke in a tie game. bottom line is, with Timlin gone, there's no reliable reliever until you get to Papelbon.
  19. only good thing about when we play the Jays is the games are on TV in Canada so I actually get to watch Sox games for a few days
  20. And Toronto for that matter, with the exception being his last start against them
  21. Youk should be up for all-star consideration, what makes anyone think he won't find a spot in the lineup somewhere?
  22. with Timlin out, Tavarez/Seanez sucking, who knows what we'll get from Foulke and Riske, our bullpen should be very interesting in the next few weeks but don't blame Tito for throwing out Wakefield in the 9th, especially after all the criticism he got here for leaving him in too long against the Yankees
  23. meh, he threw 7 friggin pitches. it basically doesnt even count as an outing. and i dont think we'll need Paps tomorrow
  24. Schilling gets his milestone, McClung gets clunged by the Sox lineup. Sox win 8-2
  25. I think Riv is confused by the fact that this thread was created prior to last night's game, at which point Damon had done f*** all to us all year except for I believe 1 RBI. Sorry Riv, the numbers don't lie.
