  1. Blue fish if only really fresh. Strippers, small ( legal of course ) or trophy fish ( my biggest is 42 lbs. ) Love any flat fish, fluke is the best for fighting though.
  2. I'll hook you up !!
  3. Close, Yarmouthport. But, I usually fish out of Chatham or Harwich. Actuaually, I'm gotten a little lazy, and have my friends ( clients ) just bring the fileted fish or shellfish to the house.
  4. I used to, but I stopped. I would only go with my friends, who happened to be Pro's. It was fair for the other contestants. I just donate instead.
  5. Money fish, need to go the Cayons ( south east of Nantuckett ) about a 10-11 hr round trip not counting fishing time in a reasonably fast boat. It would be an incidental catch. If we went that far it would be for Yellow fin Tuna as the primary catch.
  6. Wimp fish. See how you stand up to a run of Blues or Stripers... yet alone Tuna.
  7. Mid Cape, I handle a very large percentage of the commercial fisherman, including charter boats, shell fishermen, aquaculurists, etc.
  8. This must be the streamline version of disscussion. Just just cut and paste and old thread, the cut and paste your response. How insightful !
  9. Leave out the fishin. because you've probably never done it properly. Not giving you crap, but talk to after you've benn fishing done the Cape with a Pro.
  10. Nice informative post !
  11. Just make a shot cut on your screen or navigation bar.
  12. It cost $ 10 last year, waiting for renewal this year. I found it worth while, aside from the pride aspect, I got 20 % off at the souvenir shop across from Fenway and was eligible for special member's only ticket opportunities.
  13. Congrats ! I spent seven hours yesterday on the second chance Yankees chance to buy tickets and got ... nothing.. what a waste.
  14. What is your problem ? Post counts are insignificant, its not like you gain privileges or a bonus. Also, who defines retarded or worthless posts ? I think just about everybody here ( myself included ) have made a few shall we say, " less than insightful posts ".
  15. That's because they need two to make one half way good one. Sorry couldn't resist.
  16. Did any of you receive an email for a second chance to buy NY Yankees tickets. Just received it today. I can't believe that there are any left after the first drawing. They must be really garbage seats. I'll check it out and see what I can grab. Unfortunately, Friday is a busy day for picking up and dropping off tax returns and information.
  17. I think he did fine , for what is was. He's at least one, and probably two years away from the Sox ( that's the fast track ).
  18. Just for yucks on a stupid thread, but who really cares. The Yanks weren't banned. It was an offer to replace uniforms for free. How many of you have been involved in kids baseball and tried to get sponsors ? Does " Chico's Bail Bonds " ring a bell ( Bad News Bears - the original ) ?
  19. I don't know about a "big" part, but , yes he certainly contributed. Unfortunately, other than being rested when Doug caught Wakefield, Francona was chastised for not playing his best line-up. This is true for the rest of the line-up, due to the public demand to win the east tittle ( beat the Yanks ). So we end up with a tired, injured team going into the play-offs, including the pitchers ( starters, and relief ).
  20. Is that based on your years of running a site. Yeszir has already stated his position. This is the second time you have not regarded or respected other members of the site. Read the prior posts and then make intelligent responses.
  21. Welcome, and I hope the college search is successful !
  22. Okay, I wasn't trying to incite any arguments, I was just, as I said stating my two cents. I, of all people, am not one to demean the value of numerical applications. Speaking of which, I got to get back to returns. PS : I react somewhat defensively when it comes to applied statistics. It has and will devastate hundreds of people in the fishing industry. Due to miss application, poor sampling, and assumptions.
  23. No, I don't think it was a shot at you. I think it was a more of an agreement with me. Meaning that there is still the human factor involved with hoping for the best. Trust me if I was buying or acquiring an asset, I want every conceivable statistic and projection available. Just pointing out that the human factors can't be quantified and that a fan's point of enthusiasm springs eternal. Also, the application of metrics to sports ( in this case baseball ) is a recent trend is still evolving. There was absolutely no offense meant, especially to you.
  24. Agreed, Wells will probably be traded sometime during Spring Training.
  25. Is there a reason that all mirrors are banned during women's hockey ? I know that they're allowed during gymnastics !!
